Easy enough for a 3 year old to play with. Helps with fine motor skills with allowing the child to place screws in holes and use the tool to loosen and tighten. Loads of fun putting together and taking apart.

I love how simple it is to put together for both myself and him, so that is always a plus with a kid that likes to break things. I would be careful having this for smaller children because of the screws.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Educational insights design & Drill T-Rex is a great hands on, screen free, STEM toy that allows children to learn the basics of using a screwdriver and building their own toy, that they can build over and over for endless fun! My 4 year old son and 6 year old daughter have both built and played with the design & Drill T-Rex and really enjoy playing with it. We learned the "righty tightly, lefty loosely" method, they came up with a little song to remember which was aadorable. The stickers make it fun to personalize your T-Rex. From a parent's perspective, I love that the design & Drill T-Rex offers screen free, hands on, can build and take apart unlimited amount, kids learning without realizing it and having fun! I love the fun bright colors, the T-Rex easily moves its legs, head/mouth with ease for children to play with once together. Overall the design & Drill T-Rex from educational insights is a great educational toy for younger children and a great product line to start STEM based activities.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is perfect for toddlers, my 3 year old daughter enjoyed screwing the pretend screws. Adult help was required to show her what to do and help hold them toy while she screws. She loved the toy because of the idea that she was building it. There wasn't too many pieces so it was able to entertain her short attention span and didn't make it difficult for her as she only had to screw the legs and the back details. Overall this would make a great gift because the child is actually hands on and is great for exercising their hand motor skills.

I like the fact that isn't fragile built so they won't be able to break easily. Also that the arms and legs can moves. It does a very good job at keeping my kids away from their electronics and have a good play time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive this free sample of the design and drill t-Rex. My five year old daughter was so excited when it arrived. The toy is very well made and feels sturdy. The colors are fun and bright. My daughter was so excited that she got to build her own Dino. My downside of the toy is I wish there were more pieces to it. For example more than one set of legs or a few tails. Once my daughter put the Dino together, she's had no desire to take it apart and rebuild it as there's only one option for each part you attach. Overall it was a great toy, I just don't think it will be one my daughter grabs to play with frequently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a four year old son who loves dinosaurs and was super excited for this toy. I loved that he would be working with "tools" to build the dino. The idea of this toy is great, but I think he's a little too old for it. Will definitely be keeping it for future kids!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was so great to have for my son! My son is 5 and he loves toys that get him engaged and are stimulating for him. He's a very energetic child but likes having activities that he can concentrate and work on. He loves this dinosaur. He will sit around for hours screwing on and off all of the pieces. Most of the toys that my kids receive are just for entertainment and it doesn't actually keep them entertained for long but toys like this that get their brains working are so great and make me feel better as a parent as well.
