Buyer Beware - Bad Customer Service
Buyer Beware! This company refuses to sell or replace small parts that break or go missing, instead taking the stance that you need to figure out the correct part to purchase independently, or else buy their expensive machine all over again. My Frigidaire Ice Maker did not retain a rubber gasket on the water reservoir, instead allowing it to come loose and disappear to who-knows-where. I reached out to the company to purchase a replacement part (though it could arguably have been considered a warranty issue), who had me jump through a bunch of hoops filing out forms and responding to emails with their "parts department" only to finally be told that they simply do not sell or send out replacement parts. Their stance? Figure it out on your own or buy a new ice maker. Had I known that Frigidaire (Curtis International) had such poor customer service, I never would have spent almost $300 on this machine, and instead would have done more research into which companies take care of their customers. Just a heads up.

Beat ice. Worst machine.
I love this ice maker. It legitimately makes the best ice ever. However. It breaks. It doesn't last a year. My family has gone through 3 units. I'm already planning my 4th purchase. I'm not rich, I just like ice that much. Wish you lasted longer smh. The warranty was an absolute waste. Allstate gave us the run around and basically it was easier and quicker to buy a new unit. Do not recommend the warranty fyi. They won't fix it.

Broke after two weeks
I wish I could give it 0 stars. It was great when it was working but broke after 2 weeks. Kept overheating and melting the ice before it even had time to drop in the storage bin. I emailed every site possible and they refused to help repair or replace it even witha warranty. Save your money.

Not worth the $300 expensive price. Lasted only 6 months when the ice indicator light stopped working, will not turn on to make ice even with the power light is on or after cleaning. No reset button, just an unplug & plug it back-in & hope that it kicks back on, in the troubleshoot manual booklet. Disappointed with Frigidaire..

Do not buy
Ive had this ice maker about 2 years and if worked as intended it would be perfect. That is however not the case. After a few months it began making extremely loud noises. Not the end of the world as it still made ice, just annoying. Fast forward a few months, the ice light no longer comes on and you have to press the button at least 5 times and hope it worked. After that if I’m able to get it to make ice at all, it will hold the ice for about 12 hours before it melts and leaks all over my counter. If you’re looking for a good quality ice maker that is easy to use this is not it.

I absolutely LOVED this machine, until it almost caught on fire!. For the first few months this worked so well, the ice was fantastic. But all the sudden, I smelled an electrical burning smell, and thank God I was home because it started smoking. Won't plug it back in again!

Dont waste your money
When The machine worked, we loved the nugget ice. The light quit working at about four months, which wasn’t a huge deal but then at 13 months it started making horrible grinding noises. We started to find little black flecks in the ice then it completely broke down. We did regular monthly cleanings,followedAll of the recommendations from manufacturer. Customer service was not helpful at four months when the light quit let alone at 13 months when we started to see black flecks. I would not waste your money on this.

Does Not Last, Save Your Money
Didn’t even last a year. It makes a horrible screeching sound, bolts inside of it have started to rust, even with cleaning it routinely with vinegar cycles it has only gotten worse over time. Not expecting much from the warranty company after reading other reviews. Definitely feel like I just threw money away on this item.

The indication lights (power light and "ice" light) stopped working after about a month which wasn't a big deal, the unit itself lasted 1 year before it stopped making ice. Loved it up till then.

Dont waste tour money!
Worst purchase I’ve made in a long time. This ice maker lasted about 5 months. It made horrible loud sounds and became very hot then, no ice. Cleaned it regularly. Used per the instructions. After it stopped working, my daughter offered to let us use hers. It’s been about 3 months and it’s starting to make the same very loud sounds and get very hot. Just waiting for it to stop working. Don’t waste your money. And customer service is terrible. The company doesn’t care that they stop working. Won’t replace them. Won’t offer and help at all. Only gave 1 star because for some reason there’s never a zero or negative option
