This blender hardly ever leaves our counter. It works amazingly well. I thought I was going to e disappointed because of the price point, boy was I wrong! I use it for my smoothies and my husband uses it for preparing our family's favourite pizza sauce. Definitely recommend!

Excellent power blender. Affordable and powerful. Ice cubes turn to snow and water will boil. What else could u possibly want from a power blender? Oh yeah, there's a 5 year warranty.

I will never not recommend this blender!! I have used a handful of blenders across different homes and kitchens in my life but this is the best one by far. Price and quality are both there. One helpful tip from a few years experience: give the screw in the top of base a good tighten every once in a while as it can become loose over heavy use (especially when blending a lot of ice). I used to mix everything by hand but I always reach for my power blender now. I use this for batters, soups, making flour, and of course, smoothies. I have recommended this blender to virtually every person I know and have gotten many people to shop Salton. Never heard a complaint. Love it!

I bought this blender to make pureed baby food after my last 2 blenders died. My husband also makes smoothies every morning so we needed/wanted a really powerful blender and this one does not disappoint! This blender easily purees meat which our previous one didn't do well, and this one also easily makes smoothies, with frozen fruit, in seconds. The price is a bit more than the average blender (also a lot more power than the average blender) but is cheaper than the higher end blenders out there, but works, in my opinion, just as well as the high end ones. It has 8 blades and is easy to clean. I absolutely LOVE the Harley Pasternak. Best blender out there. I have never written a review for any product before but just had to for this one :)

I wanted a new blender to make smoothies and ended up buying the magic bullet which was small and weak. I then bought the ninja, and again the experience was the same, too small and weak. When I got the Harley Pasternak blender I was very happy, the power is great and the size is perfect. I use this everyday to make smoothies or soup. My family liked it so much that 4 of them went out to buy one for themselves. The next time I am looking for a small appliance, I will try Salton first.
