A: You could try using dawn dish soap as a 'clarifying shampoo' as well. Old trick of the trade. Or use warmer toned gloss opposed to the cooler toned gloss! 😉👍

Perfect toner for light Ash brown hair

I love the blazing brown color as someone trying to transition back to my natural hair color after being blonde for a long while. The cool, almost green/blue tones last far beyond the color, but I love that to keep the ashy aspect of my natural hair. My one complaint is that the product is pretty thick, and can be hard to squeeze out of the super cute bottle, but I'll get over it!

It was beautiful at first (dark espresso) and then it turned my hair green! As soon as I first washed it it started to turn pieces of my hair blue, and then upon more washing it turned horrible green. I have used 2 color removers to try and get it out and it's just been a nightmare. My hair has had bleaching in the past, and all the green areas were once blonde. I had gone darker before using this as a "touch up." Did not go as planned. Attached is before picture, after glaze, then after washing once and all of the color removers. Beware if you do not have virgin hair.

Love the clear!

I don't understand all the bad reviews! I love this, but I only buy the transparent gloss. It totally changes the feel of my hair and makes it feel thicker and sleeker, and with blow drying it stays straight all day. I'm on my 4th bottle!

Get something else

Ok so it says it’s a gloss and to match your current hair color, but then it also says it’s a semi-permanent dye. So here I’m thinking that maybe if I have dark brown roots, it’ll darken it slightly to blend somewhat with the black hair I have at the end (because i don’t want to dye my hair black anymore). Well, unfortunately it does nothing. Not only does it not make it any darker (not even the slightest, you can still see a divide between the black hair at the bottom and natural dark brown at the top) but it didn’t even work to make my hair shinier. Yes, even the black parts that were dyed black previously (and i got the black colored gloss). L’Oréal wonder water actually works to make hair shinier so if that’s what you’re looking for, just do that. It’s not going to do anything for color anyway if they say you have to match your current color. Hopefully I can return it even though I had to use quite a bit bc of long hair).

Have been wanting to try this gloss for a while and finally got my hands on it. Pretty decent amount of product for the price smells great easy application but doesn't work. It made my brassiness worse and now hair has red coming through which is what I wanted to cancel out orange reddish tones wish I could return need to find something else now to fix this.

This product did the opposite of what it advertised in terms of color. It pulled all of my brassy tones to the front even tho I have very dark brown hair. Somehow this “cool dark brown” turned my hair a brassy almost orangy green mousy color. Do not buy

Yeah dont buy this.

Let’s start with the PROS: it didn’t turn my hair blue. it kinda worked? CONS: it stained my tub, cabinet, hands, face. You know what it didn’t stain? My hair, at least not really. I can’t tell much difference. I have a lot of hair, normally when I box dye (I know, bad) it takes me 2.5 boxes. I used 3/4 of this bottle in one application. It’s a pain in the neck to wash your hair, get out, towel dry, apply, wait 10-20 minutes, and then spend 30 minutes washing it out because it took that long. Also, says no shampoo needed…. WRONG. I had to shampoo, and my hair is still bleeding color. Also, it smells like grandma perfume 10/10 will not buy again. Don’t buy this junk. Just dye your hair.
