Vornado Lucerna 1 Humidifier: Portable Cool Mist for Small Rooms, Quiet Operation, 24-Hour Run Time, No Filter Needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very interesting design for a humidifier. A lot sleeker than ones I’ve had in the past. It’s a good size for a smaller room (<400 sq ft), and the tank lasts hours.

Appears to be of quality construction but I have something similar acquired from another vendor for half the price with at least double the output.

ive had this for about a little over a month now. I really liked it it first. but the buttons sometimes are annoying. the one time it wasn't reading my finger at all. the non buttons is cool but they need to be tweaked better. what also needed to be tweaked after realaiztion is it is so d*mn loud. not the motor but the crackling of water. I like to leave it on when fall asleep but its so annoying to hear. sleek, cool design and all but some adjustmnenrts need to be made. some low dim lights for the senseless buttons would be cool too. I have the standing fan as well from you's and the buttons do the same thing where they don't respond. and I know my fingers weren't wet at the times. quality of products isn't bad but the buttons totally suck. 3/5

The look of this unit is stunning. The first time someone stepped in my house after getting it, it was commented on. The controls operate on a sensor apparently, as no buttons or knobs exist. The three light levels are great for nighttime, and the unit automatically shuts off when empty. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the sound. It gurgles and makes noises like dripping water and popping bubbles. The tank can't be cleaned, so be sure to bleach it weekly. Beautiful unit.

I read all of the reviews & even though they all came from people who were given this product to try & review I still gave it a try-happy! It is easy to move around my 2 room apartment, the water vapor comes out in such a way as nothing gets wet, no moisture runs down my walls-no other humidifier has ever left me without a mess to clean up! The light is ok in its low setting & yes the ‘buttons’ are a bit mysterious. Functional Easy to fill My trust in Vornado is great! I have 2 fans 2 air purifiers & this humidifier-very happy!

Worked once and stopped working. Cheap parts. Very poor quality

I bought 3 of these a few weeks ago to put in 3 bedrooms. It helps so much when our heat runs at night, when our children have coughs or congestion, and just with the dry winter air. We have bought possibly 9 or 10 other humidifers over the past 8 years. All of them would get some mold issue if the water wasn’t drained daily and replaced with fresh. Running it on high all night does last about 10-11 hours. The fact that the level is so low in the morning is an advantage to me because I drain them each morning and leave it open to dry. It’s nice to not have to dump a half gallon out. The footprint of it is smaller than any other I have use and the fact that it’s not shaped like an unwieldy rain drop. These were pricey but when the time comes to clean these I love how it is see through plastic, so you actually know where to clean it. The light is pretty and good as a nightlight too.

It is a quiet and efficient humidifier that has made a significant difference in the comfort of my room. The Lucerna 1 has a 0.5-gallon water tank, which is perfect for a small room. It can run for up to 24 hours on low or 12 hours on high. I typically run it on low all night, and it does a great job of keeping the humidity level in my room comfortable. The humidifier also has a dual fan system that efficiently distributes the mist throughout the room. I have noticed that my room feels less humid even when the humidifier is running on low. Another thing I love about the product is it's ambient light feature. It has three brightness settings, and I enjoy using it as a nightlight. This makes frequent cleanings so much easier! I can’t describe how practical and unusual this minor design choice is. The humidifier is east to fill, empty, and clean. And I love the simple, flush control panel that makes controlling the settings so easy. There are two humidity output settings, and the humidity and lights are controlled separately. The amber lighting is warm and pretty. There are three different brightness setting and the illumination can be turned off as well. It’s a beautiful and simple option for home humidity.
