Q: Does this have a typical sunscreen fragrance?
submitted by Amanda - 5 months ago
A: You may experience the natural scent of the raw materials or base scent of our Sunscreen. Some customers have found the scent of the base ingredients stronger than others but it is totally normal.

Not Acne Safe

Had to pick this up in a pinch when I ran out of my KBeauty sunscreen, and initially I felt neutral about it. It is a very oily sunscreen that felt like it sat on top of my skin and left a lot of shine, but it didn't burn my eyes or feel overly heavy so I was willing to just put up with it for the time being. I've been wearing it daily and reapplying throughout the day as I normally would. After inspecting my face closer last night, I realized it's caused so much skin congestion and the beginning of little pimples practically all over my jawline. If you're acne prone, definitely skip!
This sunscreen is a great recommendation for ALL.

This sunscreen has amazing absorption, and is moisturizing. I was very surprised that it was compatible with my skin type (rosacea, cystic acne, combo) — just because not all marketing can truly describe how a product will affect an individual’s skin. I had my doubts about the cast, but sinks right in the skin. Bought this at the end of June, and now it’s the end of August — lasted that long! I will be purchasing it again!

Used the first time and totally stings my eyes. Will go back to the other brand I was using. Love all of my other products though!

I am on my second bottle of this. I absolutely love it. I have oily skin and this leaves me feeling protected and hydrated. It does not pill with my other products and does not leave a white cast.
Great stuff but too oily for me.

I like the consistency of the solar shade. It goes on easy and rubs in well. But it seems to leave me quite oily all over. I do have some oily t-zone issues, but I actually have to pat my face with a tissue before I can finish my makeup.
Nearly perfect...

I love this sunscreen and it would be my new go to if it weren't for the fact that it stings my eyes! I love the feel and finish it leaves on my skin more than any other I've tried; however, I have to use a seperate sunscreen around my eyes due to the stinging and burning that this one causes. As reslut, I won't be repurchasing unless it is reformulated to stop the stinging because I'd rather by one instead of two. :(

Dunaliella salina extract, Glycine soja oil, Haematococcus pluvialis extract & Polyglycery1-3 Diisostearate are all pore-clogging ingredients. I should have analyzed this product before it gave me 10 cysts. It also burns the eyes like no other. Big pass!

I wanted to love it , but it refused to dry down and would always sting my eyes despite not putting it near my eyes. even now i’m using it with another sunscreen on my forehead and around my eyes so that it won’t sting! but it is still REFUSING to dry down. i’m using 1/4 teaspoon- measuring it, so it should not be like this. i like how it feels but honestly every sunscreen nowadays feels nice. i’m having this problem with lots of sunscreens i buy in the US, so maybe it is not just this, but i expected something from a dermatologists line to match my expectations
Great value

This SPF is really nice, no fragrance and nice texture. But even as someone with dry skin this SPF leaves me a little too dewey/shiny. But this wears really nice under light makeup

No white cast! I have dark skin and there is absolutely no sign of a white cast :D Also as a fairly sweaty person, I have not experienced any eye burning.

I really love the way it feels on my skin. The packaging of the tube is nice too. The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it stung my eyes. Typically all US chemical sunscreens do. I love the glow and feel so much, I use a Korean sunscreen around my eyes and Solar Shade on the rest.

Love prequel products but this is uncomfortable if you get it in the eye. Don’t wear it on your forehead if you are doing anything where you will be sweating. Not a big deal since I usually wear a visor anyway. Otherwise, it’s great for daily use, it blends in quickly and makes my skin look dewy. Will buy again.

Love most of prequels products. This kind of burnt my eyes so I will need to give it away.

Decent sunscreen for the price. I have oily skin and it is moisturizing but too heavy. It does make my face pretty shiny so I have to blot my face throughout the day. Since it is a chemical sunscreen it doesn't leave a white cast and I have medium olive skin tone.
