The power boost feature doesn’t make a huge difference in my opinion, but I’m not mixing heavy doughs with a hand mixer. For cake and muffin batters it gets the job done. Fun color too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was making a cream cheese recipe that called for whipped, which I didn't have on hand, so I figured I would whip my own out of a bar. I took out this mixer and noticed how light weight it was. I turned it on, and it was pretty quiet!! There are 5 speeds, which I started at 1 and worked my way up, since I wasn't sure how the speeds would be. On speed 5, I was able to whip a nice fluffy cream cheese. There is a 'burst' button on it, which I didn't feel gave much more umpff to the mixer, but overall, a nice mixer and will become a fixture in my kitchen!!! The mixer comes with a storage ‘bowl’ that keeps the 2 mixers as well as the whisk (all included).

It stores everything in one place and you're not looking around your kitchen trying to find the beaters. The cord also stores very nicely inside too and the blender stands up in the container. Making this so easy to store in many locations! The mixer works great from mixing up pudding to mixing a package of cookie dough. I love the variety of speeds and the power. One thing I noticed is it didn't splatter all over my counter when I am blending liquids. I never used a whisk with a hand mixer before, used it for the first time the other day to make French Toast for the whole family. Don't know how I lived without it, what a wonderful bonus! The beaters release was easy. Blender was easy to clean up with a sponge. I would definitely recommend this product! Especially if you like organization!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this hand mixer from Hamilton Beach because I needed a simple little mixer to grab for quick jobs. Lots of them out there to choose from, but I liked the cute retro look of this seafoam-mint colored one with chrome accents. I also really like the bottom snap-on compartment to keep the cord and attachments all neatly tucked away. Another reason I chose this particular one is because of the beaters. Some mixers have only the rounded thin whisk-like ones, which are fine, but I prefer the wider, flat wire ones that come with this mixer. It also comes with a single whisk attachment. It also has a 'burst' button which is very subtle, it's not a super-speed button to use while actually mixing unless you're maybe using it for something more liquid. It's great for after you've lifted the beaters up out of the batter, but you need to get some excess off. Anyhow... it's cute & retro, simple & easy to use, and lightweight & compact, I recommend it as a nice addition to anyone's kitchen.

It includes two stainless steel beaters and a whisk. I like that I can press the eject button once to remove beaters. It also includes an attachable plastic storage case to keep everything in its place. I love the light green color, is quiet and powerful. Definitely recommend it.

One of the main elements I love is the snap on carrying case. It's a small plastic container that fits both of the beaters, the whisk, the cord and then the entire things snaps onto the main mixer body. Very handy for storage!! The mixer itself worked well when I made banana bread althrough I'm curious as to the strength with a thicker mix like cookie dough. The cord length is also appreciated as it was longer than expected. Please note, it IS a plug-in. Overall, I'd recommend this product.

I used the whisk attachment when I make the cookies and they turned out great. The potatoes I used the normal attachments and they came out nice and creamy with no lumps. I liked how I could put it on a high speed and it didn't bog down.

The mixer has 5 speeds which is good for mixing different foods as pudding to mashed potatoes. The motor of this mixer does not sound clunky motor is smooth and quiet. Mixer has heavy duty cord. I like the case that fits on bottom of mixer to store beaters and cord. The storage bottom is a little hard to snap on. This mixer is easy to wipe off and is and is a great color. This would be a great mixer for anyone. I believe this mixer is a great value and i think it should last for many years.

A Hamilton Beach hand mixer is the one that I have been using for over 25 years! It has served me well and I got a great deal on this mixer so I went ahead and ordered it for my kitchen. Yes, absolutely love the color. So vintage looking. And the design and the weight of the mixer feels like the older mixers, it’s not lightweight and flimsy. This mixer appears that it will hold up to any task that you need it for in your kitchen. I basically use my hand mixer for mashed potatoes, whipped cream, tiny batch of icing, or quick batch of brownies. But today, I actually used it to make a New Year’s Eve pretzel. It handled the yeast dough wonderfully. One of the great features of it is the slow start on it. When you put it into your mixture on the first speed, it mixes gradually instead of throwing everything everywhere. Then you’re able to gradually increase through the five speeds to whatever you need to mix your particular recipe. I like that it has a boost button on it also, so if it’s not going quite fast enough for you just press the boost button and it increases the speed for you. I am anxious to try the whip attachment. That will come in handy for whipping cream and mixing cheese for lasagna and dips and more. There is an awesome storage base for it. This holds the whisk and the two beaters and the power cord. The only negative I have is I have a hard time getting that cord wrapped up and back inside of it again. But with practice and use of the mixer I’m sure the cord will loosen up a little bit and be easier to put in the storage bin. I want to mention to this mixer has a nice ergonomic design, and it is easy to hold onto and mix with one hand and use a spatula with your other hand. I definitely recommend this mixer to anyone that needs a new hand mixer. The price is reasonable for a mixer of this caliber. This would make a great gift for newlyweds, somebody starting out in their first home, or a seasoned Baker that needs a new hand mixer With this, you may find that you’re not pulling your stand mixer out all the time. The burst feature is a great function. I like it for the whipped cream. The beaters work great for whipping my lotion to the perfect consistency. I really like the mint color also. And the storage case is a BONUS feature. I appreciate whoever came up with the swivel on the cord too. I'm ambidextrous so it works with me, not against me.
