Good vibrations
I prefer Quip's lighter touch as the vibrations on other models are annoying. I have no data to support any quantifiable difference: I just like 'em.

great design
I had an older version of Quip & I wanted to upgrade to this New silver color also it seems like it is a bit more powerful & the timed vibration seems like the perfect amount of time. Quip is fresh start to my day

Quits frequently and won’t turn on again.
My brush and my daughters brush keeps quitting in the muddle of brushing, sometimes it works for a couple seconds sometimes it works about one minute and dies and then won’t start again. My husbands super old version still works great though, so I am not sure if they changed something from the older model or what.

Stops Working Quickly
On my second brush because I had to make a claim under the warranty because my brush stopped working maybe a month in. On the second one, and it also stopped working a month in as well. Even when you change the batteries, it never starts working again. I haven’t necessarily done anything crazy, because I had another quip toothbrush that was rechargeable and it worked perfectly fine. The only reason I changed it was because I wanted to match with my fiance for our bathroom. The crazy thing is, he has the green one, and his works completely fine almost a year later without having to get a replacement. The only good things I have to say are that it’s pretty, and when it works, it works really well.

Next?
Between my partner and I, this is about our 8th or 9th Quip toothbrush. I think each one lasts less than the one before it. We were big fans in the beginning but I'm definitely thinking of switching brands in the future... Usually they just stop working or I have to turn on various times throughout a single brushing bc it will just stop midbrush. My newest toothbrush, I instantly had to swap out batteries bc it didn't work at all.

Good while it lasts
This is my third Quip since they came out.I use them only for traveling. They seem to work well, but they do not last. The brush head wears and does not stay in the handle. My first was plastic and I blamed it on the material. The second was metal and the finish peeled off at the junction. So, I am back to the plastic No need to order refills. It probably won't last.

Won't continue running in a session
It doesn't it doesn't keep running the for two minutes. Sometimes it doesn't even make to the first pause. This is the reason I bought a new one because my old one was doing that even

Almost perfect
I have been using quip toothbrushes for several years and appreciate how they remove plaque, the battery life, its simple design, and how they feel in your hand. My only issue is the one I had previous to my current one stopped working just after one year so it wasn't covered under the warranty. Another family member had the same issue twice and eventually switched to another brand. For now, the positives outweigh the negative for me so I will stick with it and give it a 4 out of 5 star rating.

I like this toothbrush but my original quip was plastic and blue and the button was way easier to press on and off and I liked that better.

Excellent Value
I bought one of these toothbrushes 7 years ago and the motor in it just now is starting to give out. It was so small and inexpensive that I had low expectations for how long it would last, and I am very impressed it’s longevity. Also, my dentist is impressed with my gum health and I haven’t had a single cavity while I’ve been using it. And the brush head subscription helps me avoid wearing out the bristles too much and avoids bacteria build up. I think I’ll be getting the metal version this time. I love the color options.

Good for a month or two
One time use only. Can’t change the brush head. Poorly constructed such that a brush head change guarantees that water seeps into the cavity and the toothbrush stops working. Do not buy.

Very disappointing
I liked this brush for about one month. After that, the vibration didn’t work even after changing the battery and taking the battery join to prevent water from getting into battery case. Very disappointing and now using as a manual toothbrush.
From quip Team team
It’s out of the warranty period. I have tried everything suggested in the Help Info with no results. It hasn’t vibrated after the 1st month. Liked it before that. Gave up on it. Need to get an electric toothbrush as I’ve been using the Quip as a manual for about 2 years. Give me a great deal on your $100+ model (of course it’s out of stock so I can’t even get it for the Labor Day discount) and maybe I’ll give Quip another try. Cindy

No Glow
Bought for daughter, does not glow. We even left it in a windowsill for 12 hours and nothing. Luckily she likes the pink, but we're still pretty bummed.

Works awesome! Love the timer!
I love this brush. I didn’t realize I could replace the battery and tossed it when I couldn’t figure out how to get to battery to replace. I am ordering 3 more (mine, for hubby and for daughter. Will keep replacing heads and batteries. Long term fan of this one!

Faulty Mechanical Issue. Replacement Requested.
This is probably my 3rd or 4th quip, got the glow-in-the-dark for fun. Does NOT glow at all, but that's okay. I'm an adult. I seem to have gotten a faulty brush because every single time I brush my teeth, it quits after three seconds. It used to be after around 10 seconds, but now, not only does it quit after three, the cessation is now repetitive to the point where I can't keep this toothbrush. At first, I thought it was a battery issue, so I switched it to the battery, which housed my last Quip toothbrush, since I never had his issue with that. Not a battery issue. It's gotta be a mechanical issue. I already tossed my old Quip, so I can't go back to that either. Can I get a replacement with a different toothbrush? I don't mind paying some kind of a difference, but I can't stick with this Glow-in-the-Dark Sonic Toothbrush.

Hi Ginny, Thank you for reaching out, and I’m so sorry to hear about the issue with your quip Glow in the Dark Sonic Toothbrush. Unfortunately, we’re unable to upgrade to a replacement, as our warranty policy only allows us to process a replacement for the same toothbrush purchased. Additionally, because the toothbrush has already been discarded, we’re unable to process a replacement order. However, we’d be happy to offer you the code TRY20 for 20% off a store order, excluding refill items and gift cards. You can apply this code at checkout in the “Discount code or gift card” box. Please note that this offer does not apply to taxes or shipping. If you have any additional questions, please let me know! Best, quip Support

Excellent Brush Quality, Poor Handle Durability
The brush itself is great, but I've only had the toothbrush for a few days and the color on the handle is already wearing off. It doesn't affect how well the toothbrush works, but it's still disappointing to see the finish deteriorate so quickly.
From quip Team team
