As a daily user of the Beast 850 blender for my morning smoothies (typically involving frozen fruits and veggies), I've developed a nuanced opinion of the machine. It certainly excels in some key areas, but several design choices make the day-to-day experience frustrating.Pros: A Quiet, Efficient WorkhorseThe standout feature is undoubtedly the motor. It is surprisingly quiet for its power and highly efficient, blending even tough frozen ingredients quickly. The assorted top options are also a major plus, making it incredibly convenient to blend my smoothie and immediately cap the jar for transport to work or the gym.Cons: Design Hurdles and Cleaning WoesUnfortunately, the usability is hampered by several design issues. The main frustration is the narrow mouth of the blender jars. It is very difficult to fill them with ingredients without making a mess. Once filled, ingredients tend to get stuck—first at the bottom and then sometimes at the top—meaning they are missed during the initial blending cycle and require frequent stopping and shaking.Cleaning is also a chore. The jars have beaded sides that consistently trap powders and small ingredients, making them difficult to keep sparkling clean. Furthermore, the relatively small blender blade unit easily traps ingredients itself, requiring careful attention during both blending and washing.VerdictThe Beast 850 has all the power you need for a daily smoothie habit, but the poorly designed jars and blade assembly add unnecessary friction to the process. If you can tolerate a bit of a mess and a meticulous cleaning routine, the efficient motor and handy transport lids might make it worthwhile. Otherwise, be prepared for some frustration.

This is a powerful, well made, aesthetically pleasing blender that sadly is terribly designed. The mouth of the blender is the smallest of any of the dozens I've had, and it very quickly became an issue. You simply cannot pour a scoop of protein powder into it without it going all over the counter. The mouth of the blender is smaller than that of a coffee cup, and actually slightly smaller than a standard drinking cup. So it makes it useless even though it's gorgeous.

So far it works well with frozen fruit, powders, and liquids. The only downside of the stylish design is that sometimes ingredients don’t completely mix since the blending containers aren’t smooth…powders can get trapped in the crevices quite easily. Love being able to take it on the go vs pouring into a second container.

Got it for Christmas and it is already broken. Just used it to make protein smoothies. Motor burnt out because of the frozen fruit.

Perfect size , works as advertised. I make a lot of smoothies and this handles all even mangoes, compact easy to clean, this product very well thought out. Great motor

I got this for my son for Christmas and he is loving it! He likes how quick it is to whip up a smoothie and that it's a quick cleanup too.

I have had every blender you can think of and the Beast blender is by far the best! It is so quick and easy, and makes the absolute best smoothies! And clean-up takes seconds! No comparison whatsoever!

Purchased this as a birthday gift for my husband who makes smoothies everyday. Love the ease of use and efficiency. Using this blender is much easier and more proportionate than using a full size blender. I gave it 4 stars only because the cups that came with the blender do not fit in the cupholder in the car! Otherwise, great product and very happy with the purchase.

I am really enjoying using my Beast Mighty 850 Plus blender. I knew that I needed a smaller blender for smoothies and other items and a friend suggested the Breast blender. It blends all ingredients very well along with easy clean up.

Practical design and functionality. I love the timed blending feature and ease of use. The largest canister works well for smoothies. Good power and easy to clean!

I like the power of this blender a lot BUT the seal by the blade takes in whatever you are blending up & it needs to be removed every time I use it almost slicing my fingers. If you don’t remove it to clean it (ever use) you will smell the nastiness that it traps underneath that rubber seal.

I wanted to love love love this blender based on its reviews and hype. It's great except: it's pretty noisy and it doesn't always get all the protein powder dissolved.

I have owned a Beast blender at home and thought I was buying another one comparable to the one at home. Surprisingly, this version was smaller both in the base and more importantly in the vessel. I will adjust to the smaller version, but it is almost too small for many of my smoothies.

Love the look and personal size of the blender. Love that you can drink directly from the mixing vessel by added attachments. Two issues: blender doesn’t always completely mix ingredients and must be re-mixed once or twice and mixing vessel sometimes comes loose at the base and must be held in place by hand while mixing so it doesn’t come apart and spill contents.

I have had other personal blenders. This is the best and strongest motor which blends everything smoothly every time.
