Good product, bad for storage
Overall, the product works great. However, storage for all the accessories has been tough. The storage box sold by Ninja doesn't fit the blades, so I don't have a solution that stores the blades and keeps them organized.

Blade Disc for shredding is awful
If theres one thing I can warn you about this system. it's that the disc blade absolutely sucks. It struggles to properly shred anything evenly and leaves behind big chunks of unshredded veggies. It wobbles while in use and its greatly disappointing. Otherwise the rest of the system is great. The blendsense is great, the smoothie part is wonderful. I make whole food smoothies and this ninja obliterated everything perfectly. The food processor is great and the dough blades also did a great job. Just a shame about the blade disc.

Love the doug mixer, simply amazing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used several ninja blenders before, I like them all. First, this ninja is powerful, it brilliant. The only thing i haven't tried yet the vegetables slicer. My issue with so far, some times when im blending food, the engine smells like burning and is going to explode. I don't understand what is causing this. Just to note I have not at any point overloaded it!

To-Go bottle leaks - poor design decisions
I mainly use this blender for the smaller blender bottle and making protein shakes. The food processor and blender is a bonus for when I need them. You CAN'T trust this bottle on the go, it will leak. First of all, the threads are on the inside?? and there's so much play in the threads the cap does not center itself when tightening which is why this leaks. You have to be VERY deliberate when screwing the sip top on because the rubber around the edges of the lid is what seals (silly) there's no separate gasket on the inside that it seals against. So when tightening this down you have to center the lid yourself and even then it's a gamble. The other issue is the flip top lid isn't very strong it opens and closes with too little pressure and there's no sealing gasket on it which is also why this leaks. Okay, so I can work around these issues and be mindful of how I store this and tighten the lid which brings me to the blending blade top for the travel bottle... You CAN'T get the gasket out to clean it and stuff WILL end up around/under it creating an environment for bacteria and mold growth no matter how good you try and clean it or how careful you are with not letting food get in there. The gasket is too skinny and too deep in the cap that you'll need to get creative with digging that thing out of there to clean it properly and that will probably damage it.

Safety Hazard
After 7 months the lid comes loose while it is running. Of course it shuts off, but it takes a moment for the blades to stop.

Amazing system for the price
I got this on sale for $167 during Cyber Monday. This thing is a beast on what I've tested it on so far, makes amazing smoothies, salsas, and shredded cheese. I can't speak to the longevity yet but for a mid range cost blender system it has all the features that most people need. It's not as powerful and doesn't have the bells and whistles like making soup like a Vitamix but it does a solid job. Cleaning tip that I got from a chef, clean blender jug directly after each use by rinsing out contents and using a tiny amount dish soap and water, put back on base, turn blender on low/pulse, rinse it out after, air dry it, remove and clean your gaskets weekly. Using a dishwasher is unnecessary and you can't use the heat dry option in the dishwasher anyway according to the manual.

Waste and worst Ninja Blender
Worst Blender I had bought in my life stopped working after 12 months used only for making smoothies and when I call ninja they said the warranty expired in 12 months never again I m going to put my $200 to buy this kind of item

Perfect
This is my second ninja blender - but the best of the two. The bullet blender makes the most perfect margaritas while the other 2 have shredded lbs and lbs of cheese and blended gallons of salsa and enchilada sauce. This is the best blend system ive ever had. Works so quickly and everything is done to perfection

Blendsense ROCKS!
It's a dream compared to my cheap old blender! We make lots of smoothies and it's so nice to just turn it on and walk away because it knows when to shut off. And we now have true SMOOTHIE'S, no more ice chunks. LOVE it!
