Rowenta Freemove Force 1600W Cordless Steam Iron with Stainless Steel Soleplate - Black & Blue

The design is ergonomic and easy to handle,however the heating element doesn’t really stay hot long enough to iron your clothes without having to replace the iron on its base within 20 seconds. It’s like having an iron from the early days of placing it on the stove to heat up and then use it and then replace it back on the stove eye to gain more heat. I thought this iron would’ve been something I’d be raving about like my last Rowenta that lasted me 20 plus years without an issue. I’m a bit underwhelmed with this version and wished I had chosen a corded model for more efficiency!!

Product seems well made. Ironing without a cord is great. The trade off however is that you have to place back on the base frequently to reheat. This slows the process down a bit.

Iron is quality and light weight. It charges fast and delivers steam like the corded Rowentas. Excellent for light use and easy storage. I recommend this cordless iron.

Read the instructions, even watched videos but couldn’t stop the water from spewing everywhere. Even while on the resting platform, the iron leaks. Prior to this iron I had another Rowenta and it lasted me 10 years, but this is not the one to replace it.

I bought this iron for my daughter for Christmas, who just got into sewing. She had researched it and wanted this one. Unfortunately, it never got hot. She brought it back to me for me to return.

I purchased this iron to replace one that I had had for quite some time. I wasn't too sure of this, but I have been pleasantly surprised. I would definitely recommend this iron.

Purchased this for my sister, loved the thought of cord free ironing but could not see the water level in the iron. Most irons, even though where the water goes has color, you can see through the plastic. Not on this one.

First time I ever spent 3 digits on an iron. I have heard nothing but good thins about Rowenta. I use this strictly for quilting fabric. I love the 400 small steam holes, the fabric doesn't get caught and curl or crease. It glides so nice over the fabric, no cord to wrestle with all the time. The steam is good to me, I usually use a mister then iron, so I don't have anything to compare to. My two unexpected disappointments are, 1. It doesn't hold heat long. I mean I don't get a quarter of a yard ironed before it need to go back on the base to reheat. It seem I spend more time waiting for it to reheat than I do ironing. 2. It also lets out steam while on the base, what's up with that?? I couldn't imagine trying to iron heavy fabrics with this model. For three digits, I expect more, especially from Rowenta.

So far very happy with this iron. I just wish there was an off button.

I had issues with the quality of the product received 2 times in a tow and Target doesn't seem to care since its sold by their vendors. The Customer care team just doesnt want to help and disconnects the call. You can do bette, Target!!!

`I love this iron except for one thing. I cannot see through the dark blue plastic to see when I am filling with water. It has great steam and heats up fast.
