Q: I purchased an eyeliner with a description that CLEARY reads it comes with a built-in sharpener. One Target Consult replies the eyeliner is self-sharpening, another suggests using the built-in sharpener. Which is it? I wish I could return it

A: To sharpen it, wrench off the other end (white). Then cram a Q-tip into the tube to push out more of the pencil, so it's no longer a nub. Then use a pencil sharpener. Good luck!

A: This is a great product, however not designed well! The gel tip is very soft. When you use a cosmetic sharpener it breaks off easily. Unfortunately, best to yank on white end and push up with a Q-tip.

A: Moisten a Qtip with eyemake up remover, of better yet, baby mineral oil. Use it to clean the inside of your pencil sharpener, It will coat the inside of the sharpener for a perfectly sharpened pencil.

Q: People keep asking this, and the response provided is not an answer. How do you get the product out of the pen? There is no option to twist it. It doesn't twist.

A: It's a PENCIL you sharpen. Not a plastic pen type. I've been using this for years. Never had a problem. The white part is just a design, not a twist.

A: Use a cosmetic pencil sharpener. Coat the inside of the sharpener with a Qtip moistened with mineral oil or makeup remover. The pecil will get a sharper point that way even when the product is soft.

Q: When I purchased this item in the past I was able to extend it by turning the bottom so it lasted a long time. This one does not have ability to extend so only lasts a few weeks. Why was it changed?
