Thick course red hair that frizzes?
My absolute go to as a leave in for 10 plus years! Routine A little argan oil, this leave in( apply to damp hair) My hair prior to using this: was damaged and breakage from bleaching. I still dye hair, and it’s never been so healthy. Scent when you smell it in store: doesn’t stay in hair. Don’t let it discourage you. I have red course/medium hair that does frizz. Wash at night: apply brush through and air dry or blow dry- style next day. Has never weighed hair down or left a nasty scent. Price needs to stop going up. A jar lasts me about 8weeks and I use it twice daily

Good but not great….
It does have some slip and provides some moisture but does not have the same knot melting effect that other conditioners have. It also does not provide as much moisture as other products. It does have a pleasant scent but the packaging needs work because the pump can be hard to work with when your hands are slippery. Overall it gets the job done but I’m not super impressed.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this is the second SheaMoisture product I’ve tried that I really didn’t like. I had high hopes after enjoying one of their other products, but unfortunately, this one didn’t work for me at all. While it might be suited for a different hair type, I feel it’s important to share my experience. The scent is a major issue for me — though many people seem to love it, I couldn’t stand it. My hair is shoulder-length, straight with slightly wavy ends. The conditioner itself applied easily, it wasn’t too thick or too thin, but that sums up my positive experience. However, as a leave-in conditioner, it just didn’t work, it’s a failed concept to me. It was far too heavy for my hair type, leaving it feeling weighed down and greasy. My hair looked dirty and oily and glued almost immediately after applying it. Unfortunately, I won’t be using this product again, and I’ll be discarding it.

So Disappointed
I purchased Shea Moisture products to AVOID harmful ingredients. Well, was I wrong!!! Now the "new formulation" adds polyquaternium-10, polysorbates, amd other toxic ingredients. These ingredients are horrible for your health and safety. They cause me to have severe skin irritations, and systemic allergic reactions. Sad to say, but Shea Moisture has really gone against what I thought they stood for. Don't buy these new formulations if you value your health, wellness, and safety!!!
