Aleve Back & Muscle Pain Reliever & Fever Reducer naproxen sodium Tablets provide targeted muscle and back pain relief. Each naproxen sodium 220 mg tablet has the strength to deliver up to 12 hours of continuous, effective back and muscle pain relief directly to the site of your pain. Aleve is formulated to reduce fever while managing minor pain from a backache and other minor muscle aches and pains. The chance is higher if you:: are age 60 or older,have had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems,take a blood thinning (anticoagulant) or steroid drug,take other drugs containing prescription or nonprescription NSAIDs (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or others),have 3 or more alcoholic drinks every while using this product,take more or for a longer time that directed.

Do not use : if you have ever had an allergic reaction to any other pain reliever/fever reducer,right before or after heart surgery.

Ask a doctor before use if: the stomach bleeding warning applies to you,you have a history of stomach problems, such as heartburn,you have high blood pressure, heart disease, liver cirrhosis, kidney disease, asthma, or had a stroke,you are taking a diuretic,you have problems or serious side effects from taking pain relievers or fever reducers.

Stop use and ask a doctor if: you experience any of the following signs of stomach bleeding: feel faint; vomit blood; have a bloody or black stools; have stomach pain that does not get better,you have symptoms of heart problems or stroke: chest pain; trouble breathing; weakness in one part or side of body; slurred speech; leg swelling,pain gets worse or lasts more than 10 days,fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days,you have difficulty swallowing,it feels like the pill is stuck in your throat,redness or swelling is present in the painful area,any new symptoms appear.

Directions

Do not take more that directed. The smallest effective dost should be used. Drink a full glass of water with each dose.

Adults and Children 12 Years and Older

Take 1 tablet every 8 to 12 hours while symptoms last. For the first dose you may take 2 caplets within the first hour. Do not exceed 2 caplets in any 8- to 12-hour period. Do not exceed 3 tablets in a 24-period.

Children Under 12 Years

Ask a doctor.

Other information

Each caplet contains: sodium 20 mg. Store at 20-25 degrees C (68-77 degrees F). Avoid high humidity and excessive heat above 40 degrees C (104 degrees F).

    My go-to bottle

    I keep a bottle of this at home, in my purse and at work. This helps weekender I over do it in the yard and after I braid my daughter's hair for 7 hours. The price is great and obviously non addicting.

    God send for back pain

    This is THE ONLY pain medication that can combat my years of severe back pain. Only 2 a day is all it takes. These are good send. Well these, a long with fish oil pills and the YouTube back stretching and strengthening video.

    Works pretty good

    Aleve back and muscle pain relief works well for me. This bottle design makes it easy to carry in your purse or leave in your desk without taking up to much space. This is my go to over the counter product with fast acting unscented ingredients.

    Stick to the original Aleve

    Works just like the plain old Aleve does. The “back and muscle” label is 💯 a marketing strategy! They have some nerve charging more for it though. I feel that’s really taking advantage of the consumer. There is no difference in the ingredients so they shouldn’t be pricing it differently. I mean, the store brand of naproxen works exactly the same. I only bought this because I had a coupon that made it cost the same as the generic.

    They Work!

    Aleve Back & Muscle Pain Relief works great for my minor pains. I work in the health care field and standing for long periods of time is a requirement daily. So when I’ve had and extremely long strain full day these are my go to. They’re reasonably priced and small enough for me to swallow. I keep them in my medicine cabinet for hard days.

    They work well

    I have back issues so I am constantly in pain. Besides prescription medication, I also use the aleve back and muscle pain relief at times when medication wears off and I am still in pain. It actually does help me quite a-lot. They are easy to swallow and do not contain any scent that I can perceive.

    It works, with less pill taking.

    My Doctor told me to take Aleve 12-hour paint reliever instead of Ibuprofen. Now that I see that the "Aleve" is the same thing a "Aleve back and muscle pain" pills I'm inclined to seek generic out of spite... if just all marketing anyway.

    Seems to work wonderful

    I picked up a small bottle of these at a local store to test them out. I have a bad back and this really eases my pain. I have recommended these to several of my friends and relatives and they agree these are really good for an over the counter pain reliever. Give this a try!
