absolute hot garbage
look man, I get that for twenty bucks, this isn't going to be a buy it for life product, but this is complete trash. brand new out of the box, the fan's off center in the frame and sounds like a lawn mower from the blades hitting the frame. whatever, they're cheap plastic and it's too hot in my house to wait til I have time to run out and exchange it, so I just took it apart and cut the blades down. (the blades are, for the record, such flimsy plastic that they can be trimmed down by an ancient set of kitchen scissors.) but then. even once you get the fan functional, it's so cheap and flimsy that if you have it on anything but the slowest setting, it blows itself over. it couldn't be used without being propped up between two dumbells, and even then, it's dicey. anyway, I didn't have one of the dumbells in the exact right place today, so the fan blew itself over and broke it's own blades on the way down. truly a marvel of modern engineering.

I love this fan! Had it for years and runs great! If you love fans and want to hear the air this fan is for you! No it’s not silent, but it’s not loud either, I’d say normal fan noise level. The knob being on top is very convenient. (I’ve had box fans in the past where the knob is on the back and that is awful)

Short lived fan
Fan doesn’t last long. In a week or two it starts to rattle annoyingly making noise that will bother you. The rattling coming from the center of the fan the motor of it. No good. This has happy to two fans we bought.
