The healing ointment is the best ointment I’ve ever used! I love the consistency.And it keeps my skin soft and hydrated all day! I highly recommend this ointment.

This works without being greasy . It absorbs into the skin quickly .. will be ordering again .

Must be the fragrance in this product or something but it made my hands break out in small, itchy bumps. I use the Palmer's cocoa butter cream in the tub just fine but this product has different ingredients. Such a bummer but not for sensitive skin, I guess.

I love the rich, creamy texture that melts into the skin without feeling greasy. The cocoa butter scent is subtle but comforting, and a little goes a long way. Although it's a petroleum ointment, it's less dense & more malleable than others, making it easier to rub into skin. Also contains cocoa butter, parrafin, & vitamin E. I love the cocoa butter scent. I was recently sick w/ a running nose & it healed my red nose within 3 days! Great for cuts, eczema, chapped/Dry skin, lips, hands, feet, great for slugging the face and body for locking in hydration, & safe for pets. This healing ointment is even more affordable than others. I highly recommend having this on hand!!

It has a thick, petroleum jelly type consistency, but almost as soon as it hits body temperature skin, it starts to melt into more of an oil. It absorbs fairly well and quickly into my skin, which is usually on the dry side. A little goes a long way. It has a cocoa butter scent, which I expected, but I didn't anticipate just how strong it would be. I find it overwhelming, and it gives me a headache after a while. It does an okay job of moisturizing, but I don't like the way it feels on my hands and skin. It feels lightweight, yet at the same time, I also know I have something other than a regular body lotion on. I think if you have very dry skin and don't mind the feeling of product on it and you don't mind a strong cocoa butter fragrance, then you may enjoy this. A plus is that it's relatively affordable, and as I mentioned above, a little goes a long way, so the tube should give you a decent amount of uses.

I particularly like this style of packaging for on-the-go and would love a big tub of it too. Its formula is very straightforward and packed with high-grade petroleum and nutrient-packed cocoa mass polyphenols. I use it most as a foot bask and lip balm but, after recently getting a new puppy, discovered it also works very efficiently to heal minor scratches and cuts to boot. The smell is a beautiful and natural cocoa butter scent that brings back many good childhood memories for me (we were a Palmer's house then and now). Fabulous product overall. Run, don't walk, go get one for every room in your home. Five stars!

Although it's yellow, it becomes transparent and absorbs well when applied. The packaging is high-quality, sturdy, and a good size. I love that it's really effective.

You can see in my before and after pics how much smoother and less irritated my skin looks after using it. The cream comes out of the tube pretty thick, but once I spread it on my skin it goes on in a nice thin layer. It’s not sticky at all, just feels smooth and comforting. I also love that it doesn’t have a ton of water in it like some lotions, so it actually stays put and keeps my skin moisturized. The cocoa butter smell is really nice and soothing too, not too strong. It just feels rich and protective, exactly what I need when my skin is acting up.
