Great garment steamer with nice retractable cord
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works pretty well with nice retractable cord feature and steam output. It has great steam, heats up fast. Great value for the price and its light weight and I only use distilled water.

Great iron, but bigger than I'm used to.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hamilton Beach Steam Iron worked great for ironing my kids shirts right before our 1st professional family photos were taken. I really like that the cord retracts back into the iron for storage. Unfortunately, it retracted so fast that the plug swung up and smacked me in the face, hitting me in the lip and made it bleed. This iron is bigger and significantly heavier than the previous Hamilton Beach Steam Iron I had. I have an injured wrist and it the weight made it quite difficult to maneuver smoothly. All in all, it did a great job getting the wrinkles and creases out of clothing, but too big and heavy.

Easy to use

It heats up very quickly and the steam function works well in removing wrinkles. Ironing is very easy as it glides smoothly and easily on fabrics. I think it’s a solid choice with easy control.

Powerful steam!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this steamer offers powerful, continuous steam when held downward, the steam evaporates too quickly when held upright. Note that it is heavier and bulkier than a standard iron.

Auto shut off
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron heated up very quickly. It was ready to use right out of the box. I added water to the water fill and was able to steam away very annoying wrinkles in my khaki work pants. There are multiple settings on the dial linen, synthetic, wool etc. There’s also an auto shut off that will kick in if the iron is tipped or sitting for too long which is a great safety feature. There is also a self cleaning button to keep the iron in perfect shape. I love that the cord is retractable by pressing the grey button on the bottom. This makes storing this iron even better than others!

Irons well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite part about this steam iron is the retractable cord. It's easy to set up and use. This team helps get the wrinkles out faster. It's not too heavy.

It worked really well but is a bit hefty when usin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product worked really well. It got the job done fast and worked vertically as advertised . It was a bit on the heavy side when used vertically, which was the only drawback.

Very nice iron!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this Hamilton Beach Steam Iron With Retractable Cord is a very nice iron. This has 1700 watts that makes this have powerful steam. It has a large water fill tank that is so easy to pour and fill. It also has where you can hold it vertically to the hanging clothes and then let the steam remove the wrinkles, which is so convenient. I can grip it quite nicely. It's not too heavy or big. The best thing in my opinion is the 8 foot retractable cord. It makes it so much easier to store. I am very happy with this iron. All my clothes are wrinkle free. I recommend this Hamilton Beach Steam Iron With Retractable Cord.

Effective, gets the job done
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Steam Iron with Retractable cord irons works well. The instructions are easy to follow. However, the selected setting can change quickly while using it which can affect the fabric being ironed. So I needed to keep checking the setting. The iron is large in size which is great for bigger garments. Overall, I would recommend it.

Ideal (and pretty!) iron for stubborn wrinkles
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got a steamer from Hamilton Beach, but needed an iron for heavy duty wrinkles and other craft projects. I’m really pleased with this iron, and the handling - plus it also looks really nice! It’s well made and doesn’t take up much room in my apartment. The cord is also retractable, which is a bonus! It had the power to get all of the stubborn wrinkles out of my linen skirt without much effort or time. I feel like this iron is one I’ll have for many years, given how durable it feels from the start. Highly recommend this one!

Hamilton Beach Steam Iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster and Hamilton beach in exchange for my review. The Hamilton beach Steam Iron irons and steams clothes. It is over 1 foot long and weighs about 4 pounds when filled with water. The water tank holds about 12 ounces of water. I used filtered water in the reservoir for steaming. It was heavy and awkward to use. It has a retractable cord and a self clean feature. The dial to adjust the heat is directly under the handle, which makes it difficult to turn and to see. The iron left marks on a cotton shirt after ironing it, and the shirt was fully dry. It can spray small amounts of water from the front of the iron. The steam feature may be used on an ironing board, horizontally, or when held upright, if a piece of clothing is on a hanger. The steam feature causes a large amount of steam to come from the sole plate and to travel upwards, to the user’s hand, posing a possible steam burn risk. It was uncomfortable to use with the steam being so strong and traveling upwards to my hand. The self clean instructions are not clear. The self clean feature states to fill the reservoir to the MAX fill line, and plug in the iron and turn the temperature control dial to MIN, then unplug it, hold the iron over a sink, and push and hold the self-clean button for one minute. The water comes out as steam over the sink. However, the instructions also give a burn hazard warning, stating that using the steam iron on a lower temperature can result in hot water dripping from the sole plate. Hot water did drip from the sole plate onto my hand, because it did not fully drain when self-cleaning over the sink. It states after getting most of the water out over the sink, to plug in the cord again and allow the iron to reheat and wait one minute for the rest of the water to evaporate. It did not state whether to turn the iron up to the MAX heat setting or leave it at the MIN setting. The water did not fully evaporate. I had to empty it from the fill reservoir. Overall, this is iron is awkward, cumbersome, and dangerous to use, because of the burn risks, and leaves marks on clothes. I do not recommend it.

Best Iron I've used!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the Hamilton Beach Steam Iron with Retractable Cord! My husband's profession requires dress shirts and keeping them looking great is easy with this iron. It presses well, with a smooth, crisp result. I use the steam part to touch up if it gets creased in the closet so I don't have to pull out the ironing board. Both perform perfectly. But what I love most it the Retractable Cord. I've never had one (never knew it existed) and so I'm use to it cooling and wrapping the cord around the iron itself...this is way easier as it coils inside with a button push, stores better (cord doesn't slip off), and just esthetically looks nice. I don't mind it being in sight in my laundry room. I love this iron for so many reasons!

I'd recommend it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1- Has a nice weight and size to it 2- A button to retract the cord instead of manually winding it, nice feature 3- 3 buttons that are easily accessible with your thumb 4- Reservoir tank holds enough water for your needs 5- The only thing is that your pointer finger can bump into the dial selector 6-The steam comes out good enough 7- Has a solid build to it, not cheaply done 8- Overall I'd recommend this iron

A Nice Size Iron with Great Steam Power
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With over 360+ steam holes, this iron can really push out the steam once it has warmed up. I found it did a good job with smoothing out the wrinkles and I love the retractable cord for easy storage. I tried using the iron vertically to steam a wrinkled cotton sheet but it didn't work as well as I had hoped. The iron gets heavy quickly when having to hold it up for very long and it didn't steam out the wrinkles as well as I had hoped. The placement of the steam release button and water spray button are very convenient and easy to use as well as the water reservoir port. Overall, it's a nice iron that's easy to use with a comfortable handle, retractable cord and great steam power.

A great multi-function iron!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Steam Iron with Retractable Cord is a powerhouse. It was easy to add water, and it didn't take long to start producing steam. It's a good weight, which is a must for an iron. It was time to bring out my spring decor, so I tested it on table cloths that were creased from storage. The fabric was thick, but the iron pushed through and left them crisp and flat. Next I tested out the steamer function on curtains that were a bit wrinkled. It did a great job. If I could have held the iron up for longer that a few seconds, they would have been wrinkle-free. The only negatives for me, which is personal preference, is that the iron is a bit heavy to use as a steamer, and I can do without the retractable cord. Once I pulled it out, it won't go all the way back in. But, I sew often and rarely stow my iron. Overall, I am impressed with the irons capabilities! Side note: use distilled water to prolong the life of your iron!

Excellent quality iron with retractable cord
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron is a hearty one ! I really like that it’s sturdy enough but not too heavy to glide over fabric with ease . It gets hot very quickly which is helpful when you’re pressed for time in the morning before work . This did not require any assembly. One of my favorite features is that this has a retractable cord. It also has a self clean button, which is very convenient. You can use the steam feature, which kind of makes the iron a two in one appliance. The temperature control dial has a variety of options. This iron will shut off automatically resting either on its side for one minute or on it heal for 30 minutes , I find this to be a fantastic safety feature, especially if you have children . The water reservoir fill door is conveniently located at the top of the iron and holds quite a bit of water when you refill . If you are looking for a quality iron, I would highly recommend this to become a part of your laundry regimen.

Fast and efficient!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This steam iron is attractive and effective. It heats up super fast! My old iron took a really long time so this is a big plus- sometimes you need to iron something last minute and it must be done quickly! It creates a lot of steam and vertical irons well. It's got a good weight to it and has a smooth plate that easily glides across fabric. I like the big end; it's sturdy and keeps the iron securely upwards while cooling down. The retractable cord will shoot back in really quickly and possibly twist so I like to take it easy with the cord. The cord being stored inside really keeps it neat when put away.
