A: The pre-motor filter can be washed as needed. You'll want to hand wash in warm water and rinse well; mild detergent may be used if desired. Let dry for 24 hours, or until completely dry, before reinstalling.

Q: Does this unit have a switch that allows you to go from floor to hose and when switching to yhe hose, it turns off/disables the beater bar?

A: Hi Michael. The BISSELL CleanView Rewind (model 3676) does not have a dedicated switch that automatically disables the brush roll when switching from floor to hose mode. Instead, when you remove the hose from its base for above-floor cleaning, the suction is redirected to the hose, but the brush roll continues to spin if the vacuum is still powered on and in the reclined position.

Pros: Lightweight, relatively quiet, price and easy to put together. The vacuum came nicely packaged with all parts and pieces. It contains a guide for easy setup and usage. A bonus was a link to actual videos that showed setup, use, and care which is a nice feature. Cons: Unable to vacuum stairs easily, hose is to short to reach places, tools ineffective for actual cleaning. Overall, this would be a great vacuum for a small apartment/home with vinyl flooring and area rugs. I found it difficult to push on medium carpet, unable to get flat to go underneath beds or consoles, the hose was too short to make the tools effective. I did return this item. Target made the return so easy!

I'm brand loyal to Bissell because of all they do for pets and also I usually love their products but this has been the worst vacuum I've ever bought!! I have two Saint Bernards so I vacuum constantly. I usually look for the cord rewind which is a life saver but this one tries to rewind on its own to the point I'm always having to fight for cord. Also the side attachments are constantly falling off. Lastly, the whole time I'm vacuuming I'm getting shocked. I'm so upset!! This also doesn't pick up nearly as much as my last one (also Bissell upright). I can't afford to get another vacuum so I'm stuck with this. I'm so upset!

One Of the worst vacuum cleaners I have ever owned. I vacuumed my entire house and there was very little in the canister. I am returning for sure. Definitely not worth the money. I'm not a big fan of Bissell but they kind of have a monopoly on vacuum cleaners so I thought I'd try this when cuz it was expensive for a Bissell but it was horrible. I have hard floors. Maybe it works on carpet that definitely not for hard floors like tile or wood plank
