Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)
The Crest Outlast toothpaste causes numbness to our mouth and lips, it also causes the oral lining to slough and peel away. We cannot use it at all.

I mean what is there to really say... most likely you have a toothpaste that you already use. This is the one that I use (a random person on the internet.) That being said, I use it at least twice (thrice when I eat a lot of garlicky goodness,) and it tastes good and leaves my teeth shiny and glossy, though I can't say that they are any extra whiter.) If you want to try it..., do it, but perhaps get a single tube rather than the 3-pack. If it doesn't work, you can use the remnants to clean headlights or some other DIY.

Inconsistent Formula in Recent Tubes
I’ve purchased this toothpaste many times and usually really like it, but the quality of the last few tubes has been disappointing. This toothpaste normally has the Scope flavor and visible stripes throughout the tube, but lately the stripes only appear during the first couple of uses. After that, it quickly turns into a solid color, and the taste is noticeably different. At first I couldn’t pinpoint what had changed, but after comparing a few new tubes, it’s clear the consistency and flavor are not the same as before. I’m not sure if the formula has changed or if this is a manufacturing issue, but the product is no longer consistent with what I’ve come to expect.

Please know, we have many quality checks in place to ensure only the best products reach you, and as a loyal Crest user, you know this isn't what we'd expect. In 2024, we did remove the strips from this toothpaste, and it should be a light green. We haven't made any changes to the flavor. So we can help you further, please call us at (800) 492-7378.
