Cuisinart Nugget Ice Cube Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Cuisinart Nugget Ice Cube Maker packs a big punch in a small size not taking up lots of valuable counter space I have. Setup was super easy and It was quick to start making that classic nugget ice once setup. I also loved that they included the basket and scoop that made it easier for me to add ice to my favorite drinks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ice is perfect! The machine is kind of loud, but not too bad. The ice is made very quickly and fills the drawer with one fill of the tank. The only problem is that you either have to use the ice immediately or store it in a container in the freezer because the ice drawer is plastic and the ice begins to melt almost immediately so it gets all clumped up. Great for parties when you need ice fast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this Cuisinart “Nugget Ice” maker in exchange for my honest opinion. Overall, I can’t see plugging in this additional appliance to waste space and energy just so that it can make a bunch of noise and generate a few cups worth of ice over the course of a few hours. The ice also melts very quickly in the bottom canister, so you wind up with a mix of small cubes sitting in water pretty quickly. While I do not have an automatic ice maker in my freezer, it is far more efficient for me just to freeze a tray or two of cubes, or go out and buy a bag of ice, rather than run this silly thing. At first, I thought it would be helpful when entertaining, for example if hosting guests or family for a party — but this thing would be absolutely ridiculous at a party, and there’s no way it would ever keep up with demand for cold beverages. Nice concept in theory, but ultimately not very practical in action.

I think it's supposed to make 36 lbs in 24 hours, but as everyone knows, the more important thing is how quickly it gets you some ice to use. I would say within the first 3-5 minutes I had enough ice to use for a drink. The ice is perfect consistency. They're little nuggets that are fun to chew and cool down drinks quickly. There is also an auto cleaning function as well. It lets you know when to add water and when the ice making capacity is complete. My only gripe is that if you forget to take out the ice, it starts melting all over the place which gets annoying to clean up. Other than that though, I am super impressed with this Cuisinart nugget ice maker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a kitchen appliance I didn't know we needed. My family loves it. Setting it up is very easy and relatively quick. Operating it is very simple too. All you do is remove the lid on top to the max fill line and press the button. And just like that you have ice not long after. The drawer is very easy to maneuver too and I love that a scoop is included. We were originally going to use it in the bar area of our basement but our toddler loves it so much it's found a permanent home in the kitchen. I will say that the machine is a bit noisy and takes some getting used to but that's my only complaint. The ice is perfect every time -- just like at a restaurant. Overall, we are very happy with this ice maker and would highly recommend it to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this ice maker is such a cool idea and I really like the design it has. It looks very sleek on the counter and doesn’t take up much space. The drawer does slide out smoothly and it holds a good amount of ice. I do love that it has a light inside so you can see the ice even if you are grabbing a drink at night. The top fill makes it super simple to add water and the back cap makes draining it easy. It also has a self clean function which is so useful. I think I just got unlucky with my unit because the pump didn’t seem to work but all the features are spot on and the concept is awesome. I think this unit is a great addition for cold drinks and hosting.

It doesn’t take long for it to make ice once filling it up with water. I will say, when you open the drawer to get the ice out.. I have noticed more ice spilling out. Just because it’s a bit awkward. But nothing that makes you want to stop using it! Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted one of these for awhile, just never pulled the trigger. I absolutely love this! It starts to make ice in a matter of a few minutes. I let it run a cycle and then shut it off and the ice will melt to recycle it back into the water tank. I love that it makes the ice so quickly and it doesn't melt right away. There is some noise to it, so do not expect it to be quiet while in use. It is not an over powering sound, maybe just slightly louder than the refrigerator while running. The nuggets are a perfect size, pretty much exactly what you would get at Sonic. It is a larger machine so you will need some counter space. It would be a perfect addition to an inside bar area or even for outside entertaining.

It makes perfect crunchy nugget ice and is super quiet! I love the self cleaning function and how easy it is to use. Our beverages taste so much better with restaurant style ice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cuisinart Nugget Ice Maker makes the best ice. I usually like to chew on a cup of ice from Sonic but I don't have to do that anymore. I can now make this ice at home!! It takes about an hour to make a batch of ice. My toddler loved when I turned the light on and she could see the ice dropping into the bin. The ice maker let's you know when it needs more water to make more ice. This also works great for having guests over. Almost everyone has preferred the nugget ice over the big ice that the refrigerator makes. Clean up is also pretty easy. If you do get this ice maker you should have plenty of storage space because it is pretty bulky. Overall, this ice maker has been working great and I will continue to use it everyday!

It's starts making the ice within 15 minutes and really doesn't take long to have the basket full. The machine is easy to fill, sleek looking and quite quiet for how powerful this machine clearly is. I love how the back of the maker has the empty tubes so no mess happens when you're done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used pebble ice makers before and this one is now my favorite. It’s much smaller than the others and makes ice surprisingly fast. Easy to use pull out tray. Great for a small bar set up at home.

I have used it with different kinds of drinks, but my favorite one has been with my homemade macchiatos. The ice makes my drinks super cold and when drinking it’s nice to be able to feel the little pieces instead of like my traditional cubes of ice rolling onto my lips if that makes sense!!

My kitchen is almost done being renovated, and I plan on keeping this out and it will look beautiful on the countertop. I’m not worried about it being an eyesore that’s for sure! It makes ice quick, I’d say 20 minutes and you’re set. I like the scoop and light feature. I will say, make sure it is fully done making ice before you open the drawer, otherwise water may leak out - which obviously you don’t want water to leak since this plugs in. But a great product!

The first time we used it, it was actually put to the test and was used for an event we hosted at our home. People of all ages used this ice maker. Definitely was a hit and made homemade drinks have a nice touch with nugget ice! The light is an awesome feature for using late at night. I would recommend especially if you host a lot or drink fun drinks.

I like that this maker is easy to use, easy to clean, makes continuous ice, and takes little counter space for an ice maker. To clean it you just fill the top reservoir AND the bottom one. Both marked with max lines. I completely missed the bottom one the first time I cleaned it even though it clearly states it in the user manual. Press the clean button and drain. So easy! It doesn’t take long for the ice bucket to fill and comes with a handy little scoop. I do wish the pull out bucket pulled out a little bit more for accessibility, but it’s not a huge deal. Overall, if you like ice like Sonics, I highly recommend it! Good price point too!

The drawer is able to hold a large amount and it comes with an ice scooper. There is a light for easy viewing at night and a sensor for low water and when the ice is full. It’s extremely convenient for my large household to always have ice. The machine is quiet and looks really pretty with the bright white color and beautiful design. This is a product I love and would recommend.
