Cuisinart Soho 2 Slices Toaster

This new toaster replaced a Cuisinart toaster I have had for 13 years. I was a bit annoyed that when I went to toast a bagel in it, this horrible smell started coming out of the toaster. I let it run its course, then unplugged it, not sure if something was shorting in it. I got the owners manual out and saw that it was recommended to run the toaster several times (with no food in it) to burn off the smell. It doesn't make that burning smell anymore

Purchased this toaster online 2 weeks ago. It does not meet Cuisinart standards. I wish had read the reviews before purchasing. Toast comes out with one side toasted and other side not toasted. I would give it 0 stars if could. No wonder it is being discontinued.

The Cuisinart Soho toaster is absolutely beautiful!!! After months searching for a good functional and also aesthetically pleasing toaster, I came across this one and was sold immediately! I even got the electric tea kettle to match and couldn’t be any happier with my decision. Would love to try other items from the collection!

Great experience so far with this toaster. Toasts evenly. I like how quickly it works. Nice looking. The light up feature for defrost, bagel and cancel is helpful.

Solid performance and makes perfect toast. Lost one star because the push-down lever seems somewhat flimsy and frequently requires two or more attempts to stay down. Pity, since the toaster is otherwise a 5-star appliance.

I am still figuring out what level I need to get my English muffins toasted just right. I love the lighted buttons and the lever that allows me to peek at my muffin while not disrupting the toasting cycle. I am giving it four stars because it hasn’t toasted each piece evenly yet. I hope this is because it is new and not broken in yet! I will be disappointed if it doesn’t work itself out. I got rid of my last toaster for that reason: I shouldn’t have to rotate the bread for it to toast evenly.

Bought this a couple of weeks ago and already prefer it to my last toaster! It has dials…my last had push buttons with cheap option labels most of which came off in less than a year.

I'm very happy with the operation of the new toaster. not only does it toast evenly, but it doesn't dry out the center of the toast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace a Bella that only lasted 5 months. It toasts evenly and I like the reheat feature when the rest of my breakfast prep runs long. I’m only knocking it down a star because it has a faint electrical aroma during toasting, but that may wear off. It doesn’t affect the taste AT ALL. The Bella had a MUCH stronger electrical smell than never wore off. I wish I could give this toaster 4.75 stars because the issue is very, very minor and wouldn’t prevent me from buying it again. I like that the supports inside each slot hold the bread erect for an even toasting (the Bella slots let the bread lean to one side. I wish the slots were slightly longer for certain special breads but they’re plenty long enough for typical store-bought bread. And it’s very attractive.

Good toaster for the money. The browning settings seem a little off, but not a big deal for my uses.

I bought this toaster in the light beige color and its very good looking on my kitchen counter. It even lights up when you plug it in. Also, it has a storage compartment for the cord so it isn't laying out all over the counter. Also, it toasts evenly on both sides of the bread.

Our old toaster died, and I’m so glad it did. I love this new toaster.

I basically like the toaster except one zone of the heating elements is not totally heating. I am considering returning it.
