That is what the details say, I'm not 100% sure as I haven't received my Classic Pro yet and also the first answer says it's from the "Kitchen Aid Team" and I'd hope they would know so maybe it's a misprint in the details and like they say "color" options is the only difference. Then again color wouldn't make it for professional use in my opinion but more power would.

It's supposed to start with stir then mix. This 45 yr old one now starts with "mix" and the flour goes flying everywhere. My husband tried to fix it but, it's a no go.

I purchased a new KitchenAid mixer as a result of a huge tree falling into my kitchen and destroying my mixer alongside most everything else in my kitchen. Hopefully my new mixer will last me for as long as I have left on this earth (I am 74 and have cancer so that may not be long). However I have full confidence it will still be working long after I am gone.

I just recently broke the mixing bowl on my 25 year old Oster mixer. After telling my kids that I couldn’t find a bowl for my ancient mixer, they decided it was time to upgrade me to a Kitchenaid Mixer. I love it and would eventually like to add a grinder attachment to it.

However, I wish the bowl that came with it had a handle on it. Maybe there’s an option to get one. I’m experimenting with baking from scratch& this is a plus to have for that.

The new stand mixer is much more capable and does a MUCH better job of mixing! Thre is a learning curve, as it is easy to overmix/overknead bread dough, but great so far!

She's always had hand-me-downs, used consignment store and thrift shop things, and I wanted to give her the same as I have. I've had my Kitchen Aid mixer 35 years. My dad just died in February and he wouldn't let her spend $ on good appliances. Now I get to bless her with the quality I have enjoyed. She's 78 now and more than ever it is necessary for her to have things that are physically easy to manage. She used it to make bread first.
