Q: What is the difference between a Classic and a Classic plus?
submitted by Madkitchenscientist - 3 years ago
A: I'm not sure how old this picture is but the Classic has 275 watts, not 250.
submitted byblendergirl - 1 year ago
A: Description says 250watts for the Classic and 275watts for the Classic pro. That is what the details say, I'm not 100% sure as I haven't received my Classic Pro yet and also the first answer says it's from the "Kitchen Aid Team" and I'd hope they would know so maybe it's a misprint in the details and like they say "color" options is the only difference.
Then again color wouldn't make it for professional use in my opinion but more power would.
submitted byTarget Customer - 2 years ago
A: The only difference is color availability.

A: This is an awesome mixer. Yes it is very heavy to lift but stays put on your counter when you're mixing on high speed. My last Mixer on high speed moved so much it literally flew off my counter when i wasn't looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second KitchenAid stand mixer and I am still thrilled. They stand behind their products and helped me with an accessory. This is the only brand of mixer I will ever buy! Great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I went shopping for a Stand Mixer, I already know which brand I would get. I am getting into cooking big family dinners with BBQ Sauce, Cakes, Cup Cakes. All homemade due to the new Stand Mixer! Everything works perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture shows a bowl with a handle. My gift mixer did not include a handle on my bowl. It is terribly awkward and difficult to pour batter into a baking dish without a handle! No bowl should be without a handle🤦🏻♀️ !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my wife to replace a 40 year old Kitchen aid Stand mixer we inherited from my parents. My mother had put a spatula in the mixer of the original and it was never the same after that. I am glad we made the decision to buy a new one exactly like the old one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this mixer. It's already so much better than my older one. More power! I only wish I'd gotten the slightly bigger one. Made a bread recipe that makes 2 loaves, it handles the job well. I just wished it had a larger bowl. This is perfect for small to medium sized, average household baking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a KitchenAid stand mixer for over 30 years without issue. Unfortunately, while making bread, I dropped the measuring cup into the bowl while the mixer was going. Time to buy a new mixer . . . this new KitchenAid mixer is the same quality of my original mixer, with all the same great features. Between the power and the accessories (paddle, dough hook, and whisk) it is easy to make any baked item imaginable. I felt bad that I broke my original mixer, but I have no regrets purchasing this replacement. I am extremely pleased and would recommend this mixer to family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a Christmas gift, I had given up ever owning one. I use it for all of my mixing needs and it works beautifully. I don't have to lift it to mix which saves my arms. The bowl is large enough to hold everything in my recipes. Thanks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a few years of hand mixing all of my baking I watched a season of The Great British Bake Off and realized I was doing almost all of my mixing the hard way. cream butter by hand? No thanks. Whip cream with a whisk? Nope. I have baked easily 2 times the amount I was last year in the month and a half I have had this mixer. My wrists are thankful and I'm not looking back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this mixer for about 30 years until I had a kerosene heater smoke up my whole house. The mixer more than likely would have been fine but the cleaning people tossed it. So, I bought another one just like the one I'd had. Love this mixer!
