Perfect Formula for Our Baby’s Milk/Soy Allergy

As a mom of a baby girl with both milk and soy protein allergies, finding a formula that actually works has been such a challenge. We finally found Similac Hypoallergenic Formula, and it has truly been a game-changer. Within just a few days, her fussiness, and skin flare-ups improved noticeably. She’s happier, more comfortable, and finally gaining weight steadily. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this product. The only downside is the price. For parents like me who are already stretched thin, I really wish it were more affordable or that there were more assistance programs available. It’s such an amazing product, and every baby who needs it should be able to have it without cost being a worry. Still, I’m so grateful for Similac Hypoallergenic Formula. it’s given my baby girl relief and peace, and that’s priceless.

Wonderful

Took 3 months to find the right formula because my son was out on everything thru the hospital & though wic and nothing was keeping him full , I was breast feeding and bottle feeding him and at first I was doing great with milk production then it just slowed way down and I was feeding him every hr on the hr until they tried this and he’s now 14 lbs and 10 ounces perfect healthy baby not to mention he was 36 & 6 when I had him 🤷‍♀️

Choking

Caused my baby to chock to the point that he couldn’t breath. There should be a warning that it may cause child to choke because it makes their spit up a super thick mucus.

It's decent.

My little one enjoys this formula so far 2 weeks. However, he gets really choked up and vomits a lot with it about an hour and half after feeding. Could be a bit more affordable also. He liked the 360 sensitive better, maybe I should switch back.

Okay

My daughters been on this for about two months and for awhile it’s helped, but as she’s gotten a bit bigger it’s not been satisfying her and she’s been needing to drink a lot more. She’s also been having more reflux.

Terrible

Tried to switch my baby but still this brand makes her super constipated. Also makes her have tummy problems. I will forever stay away.

Hard to mix, gross taste

We were previously on Enfamil Nutramigen due to dairy sensitivity and the doctors office didn’t have that in stock so they gave us samples of this formula instead. The first one or two feeds after the switch went okay but then she was randomly refusing a bottle which she has never done before. She would drink 2 sips then spit it out and start screaming. This happened for multiple bottles until we realized she just did not like the taste of it. We will be switching back to our more expensive formula that we know she likes. We also had an issue with the formula being very hard to mix into the bottle. You aren’t supposed to shake the bottle because of air bubbles but the swirling method didn’t work so we had to resort to using spoons to mix it in and it still wasn’t really working.

Raised prices though manufacturing price stays the same

Target has raised their prices by $2, even though if you order directly from the manufacture, the prices are still the same. Taking advantage of families that need this formula is not okay.
