New formula causes itching and dry hair
I have used this line for years. However, something has changed in the formula for the volume shampoo? It used to be creamy consistency and I loved it. Now, the "clear" formula leaves my scalp very itchy and very dry! My hair also seems dry after I use this now. So, I seem to be reacting to it and I can't figure out what specific ingredients are causing these issues now? Please, please go back to the original formula!

New formula not good
This was a long-time favorite product for me. I have fine, color treated hair and sensitive skin and had used so many sulfate free products in the past, only to be disappointed. So many other shampoos weighed down and dried out my hair, plus the buildup would end up irritating my scalp. I faithfully purchased this for the past several years. I purchased this a few days ago after my last tube ran out, not knowing the formula had changed but noting that the shampoo was now clear. I got my hair cut/styled today and right away my hairstylist knew something was wrong with a product I was using. I couldn't think of anything new. Then I checked reviews to see if the formula had changed. Yep. I'm going to need to clarify my hair with a couple washings using vinegar before I can color again. My guess is that it's the presence of Olefin Sufonate, which the older formula didn't appear to contain. Really unhappy. They need to go back to the old formula and charge more if need be. Back to my shampoo search.

I enjoy using this shampoo. I have fine color treated hair and it works for me. My hair feels clean and not weighed down. I alternate it with other random shampoos that I'm trying to use up, that are probably more moisturizing but weigh my hair down.

Doesn't Clean Well
The smell is fine, but it doesn’t lather much so it takes a lot to cover your hair. The worst part, though, is that it left my hair greasy looking and gross feeling. I’m taking it back. :(

Volume not improved. Hair's the same
I’ve waited to write this review to give it a chance. Sadly, I’m Disappointed that it does not do anything for volume. I bought this expecting that it can make a difference in my hair volume. It failed. It’s just an ordinary shampoo and honestly, I’ve used shampoos that cost less that perform far better.

New formula irritates scalp.
Trying to figure out why my scalp has been so itchy lately since I haven't changed any of the hair products I use. It finally occurred to me that this could be related to the change in color (clear instead of white) of my shampoo. From reading the reviews on this site I see that it is a new formula and that it is effecting lots of users the same way. Please change it back! I cannot use this shampoo any longer!

Terrible New Formula!!!!
I've been using this shampoo for well over a decade, never had any issues until the formula changed. The texture use to be creamy, now it's a clear sticky gel that requires twice as much product to clean your hair. Does your hairbfeel clean with the new formula? Nope. Not only is the shampoo a different texture, but whatever ingredients you switched out are causing a reaction on my scalp. My hair looks thinner, my scalp is irritated. Again, I have been using this shampoo with zero issues until you changed the formula. It's really unfortunate that you changed the formula out of nowhere, refused to announce the change, refused to put any warning on your [now poor] products, and refuse to change it back despite your customers leaving hundreds of reviews. I'm now on the lookout for a new shampoo - one that ISN'T L'Oreal brand.

I washed my daughter’s hair with this because we ran out of her shampoo and she looked at me and said mom I smell like a grandma. It made my hair feel rough too and I think it faded my color faster.

Really nice for fine hair
I have fine straight hair and personally this shampoo has been one of the best I’ve tried! It actually does give my hair volume at the root while my hair is still hydrated and silky. My hair can get really tangly with a lot of shampoos but this doesn’t do that. It also has a really nice natural fresh scent. I hope they don’t discontinue it with all the negative reviews :(
