One coat

One coat does the job but the good news is is it’s really buildable depending on what kind of day you’re gonna have. It’s pretty weightless so you’re almost feels like there’s nothing on your eyelashes at all wearing it throughout the whole day and for someone who touches their face a lot it stayed intact no smearing or smudging. It had a great lift to the eyelash. It did the job it was intended for?

Perfect for summer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Waterproof mascara is a must in the humid summer months, and even all waterproof doesn't hold up. This is one that last all day! The wand is perfect for separating and getting every lash coated. Its build able for a more glam look. Even with a few coats I didn't have any flaking. Easy to remove with an oil cleanser. Another Covergirl tried and true!

I am really impressed with this mascara the brush separates my lashes very well without clumping them and it gives a nice volume after only a couple coats.I also like that it doesn’t feel heavy on my lashes and it lasts all day without smudging. It gives nice volume and the formula is creamy but not too wet or dry It’s truly waterproof, stayed put all day through tears and rain. The only downside is removal- it’s a bit stubborn and needs a good makeup remover

Not the same
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to use this mascara 15 years ago and remember really liking it. The only reason why I changed was because I’m always trying new mascaras. Well fast forward to now, the formula has very much changed. It burns my eyes (not immediately. The following day I notice it). I don’t get a lot of volume because the bristles are set wide apart and they don’t really grip my fine lashes. Also the way the brush/bristles are set up, I ended up poking myself in the eye twice. I’m not sure if it’s because the bristles themselves jut out far or the brush head is too flush to the wand. Either way, I’m giving this one away. Sad, because I remember really loving this one and repurchasing it in the past.

Light weight and beautiful

Disappointed!

The brush is overly thick, which causes messy application and leaves smudges around my eyes. It doesn’t provide any noticeable curl or lift to my lashes, and the overall effect is underwhelming. Additionally, the formula lacks durability and doesn’t last well throughout the day. Sadly, this is not a mascara I would purchase again.

Great waterproof mascara
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this Covergirl Lash Blast Volume Waterproof Mascara. I'm picky when it comes to mascara since it's the only makeup product I wear daily. It was so easy to apply and I really liked the brush. It gripped and coated all my lashes. It didn't clump and gave me a lot of volume and length. I always apply two coats and had no issues with the buildability. I'm usually not a fan of waterproof mascara since it's harder to remove. This one was surprisingly easy to remove and it didn't rip my lashes out. I've been looking for a new waterproof mascara for the summertime since I'm always out on the water. I can't wait to see how this holds up. If you're looking for an affordable drugstore mascara that works great, I would recommend.
