  • A: That's strange - this is the quietest fan I've ever purchased. It's mostly used as white noise at night and the "Calm" setting is perfect and subtle. Even the strongest setting "Cool" doesn't make a roaring noise for me. I suggest taking it back for a new one as it seems like a faulty order.

  • A: Very easy. You have the fan, and two base pieces. Connect the two base pieces like Lego, unscrew the large red twist at the bottom of the fan. Put the fan on top of the base. Feed the wire through the red twist and base. Screw the red twist into place.

    Must have fan

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has a loft bed and it can get warm. She has this on a shelf at the end of the bed and loves it. She said that it helps keep her cool and when on the low setting she can barely hear it, that it even helps her sleep. It is easy to put together and is stable. There is a remote control for easy access. I love that it has different sound settings. The size is perfect.

    Cheap and Squeaky

    Previously had a solid Honeywell fan that lived for 15+ years. Build quality on this one is super cheap. It’s squeaky and loud and doesn’t sound or feel like it’ll last more than a few years max. Already looking for a replacement a few weeks in due to the squeaky motor.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great tower fan! My favorite feature is the integrated remote. It fits right in the back so you don’t lose it, but it’s nice to use the remote so you don’t need to get up to adjust the fan. The timer setting is also nice so you can set it for a certain number of hours. It has a good number of settings, although the names of the settings like “power cool” don’t really feel different than fans I’ve had that just number the settings. It’s well designed and easy to assemble. My toddler has knocked it down a few times and it’s been fine, so it is durable!

    Not a quiet fan (on low setting)

    Motor rattles on the lowest setting. It’s actually quite loud too, very hard to deal with. Cannot market this fan as quiet with such a bad defect even though the fan has no other issues besides the low setting.

    Don't buy

    On my second fan thinking things would be different but no. If you accidently knock this over or bump into it, it no longer is quiet. The roator motor makes an obnoxious ticking sound now. The only setting I can use it on is high. So not durable and high noise level and not super portable. The airflow sucks if you have a raised bed and want a fan on you while you sleep. Not worth the money.

The base was a little trouble and wouldn't go on easily, but finally attached. The fan didn't take up much space at all and was easy to operate. On any setting, there was noise which was a little disappointing being the name is Quietset. So far the fan has performed as expected with the highest setting blowing a little cool air which was a plus.

    Tower fan....no air

    Purchased 2 units. Returning both. You need to be in VERY close proximity of the unit to reap the air flow. Using my ceiling fan + the tower fan was somewhat better but the tower fan alone was not satisfactory.

The variety in settings is really great - it can definitely cool off an entire room which is a big deal living in Florida. And I personally love the white noise setting! When it oscillates it isn’t super clunky and I love that there’s a timer function on it. The remote is great too!
