No I would not buy this again
This is not peanut butter, the taste is gone, the consistencies like a processed oil product that is not peanut butter, I read the ingredients and there is literally no peanuts in it, artificial coloring. I made peanut butter cookies and they were weird. No taste of a peanut.

Pour a cup of Skippy
I didn't grow up on skippy and it's been a few years of me switching to skippy. When I first switched I LOVED it. Been buying the 5lbs jar because it will last me a few weeks but the last three jars I've noticed they weren't as firm as it used to be. This last jar is the worst yet, I can literally pour the peanut butter out of the jar even after stirring it. Three consecutive purchases of bad product but there won't be a fourth. I'm going back to Jif

Something has changed
I was the BIGGEST Skippy fan. Only peanut butter I bought for over 30 years but something in the past few years has changed. Maybe since Covid. The peanut butter is softer. Not firm. The taste is different also. It's just not right. Plus the jars are not consistent. All are now soft but some are much more soft. Almost oil like consistency. Please go back to your original recipe. Please look into your quality control. I love the old Skippy and miss it. Have not had a great PB&J since.

What Happened!
I've been eating Skippy for literally 50 years. All I ate as a kid and still eat it as an adult. But recently they have constantly messing with the formula and it's just not the same. It's a complete mess if you try and make a sandwich! So disappointing. Was a great product for so many years. Here's to the memories and finding a new peanut butter! Sadly.

Taste is gone.
I'm 70 years old and have used Skippy for at least 40 years and the quality and taste no longer there. Obviously quality ingredients have been replaced with inferior producs and the worst of all is the wonderful peanutty taste is gone. The last straw finally broke last week when I sent a batch of my grandmother's peanutbutter cookies to my grandson in the military. He and I made them often when he was growing up and they had always been his favorite. But while saying they were good (what else would he say) he ask if I'd used a different recipe or different peanutbutter than usual because you couldn't taste it. That made up my mind that there is now no to save money and not buy a store brand.

What happened to skippy peanut butter
I love(d) this PB. I eat it by the spoonful. On a sandwich. On ritz crackers with jelly and a big glass of milk. I bake with it. But for the longest time now its consistency is runny and oily and it disgusts me. What happened?!

I don't think I will buy Skippy again.
I make sandwiches and filled celery sticks. This is the first Skippy I have bought in years. It was very oily & had a different taste. I am 86 and have eaten a lot of peanut butter over the years. Going back to Jiff.

I haven't had skippy in 7 years btw…
I remember skippy tasting like any ordinary peanut butter, but based on what others are saying, they've changed their formula in 1994. I tried it again today and it tasted different, almost weird…and I'm kinda disappointed. Do better Skippy☹️ #JusticeForMyTastebuds

What have you done to my Skippy?
I have been using Skippy for probably over 35 years now and am unable to enjoy it anymore. Your new formula is just awful (and no, it's not the temperature, climate or store) and I will have to change brands now. The oily, slimy, runny consistency is not good at all. The flavor suffers, the consistency is not palatable, and I can't even use it for baking anymore because of the texture.

This is no longer a good product. It's oily and thin.
I used it for putting on bread or crackers. I won't be using it any more. Too much strange oil.

We are sorry to hear about your experience with this product! Storage conditions prior to purchasing can create separation or textural changes in peanut butter. High temperatures as well as very cold temperatures will affect the product. This may explain the condition you experienced. It is not a food safety issue. Please look for a separate email from our team so we can grab some more information.

If I could give it ZERO stars I would!
I have been eating only Skippy peanut butter for over 50 years. For a while now (and I thought it was just me or our store, but it's NOT), the peanut butter is just awful! It is so runny and oily that it literally won't stay on anything! It barely stays on the knife to try and spread it, and the taste is so off as well! I thought I'd never say this, as I have been a loyal Skippy only peanut butter family (even though my husband always preferred Jiff), but if you keep this new Skippy recipe, or whatever you did, I will be looking for a new brand. I don't care about whatever you used to have in the peanut butter, PUT IT BACK! I don't eat it every single day, or in massive quantities, I've been eating it the way it was over 50 years (and so did my grandma, and she lived to be almost 90), and I'm still here! The current Skippy is the WORST! And not worth buying anymore!

I've always loved Skippy
I have always been a defender of Skippy peanut butter because it was better than any other brand available. I can no longer defend it. It has become so runny that it slides right off my bread. Please change it back.

Changed for the worst. What a shame
It never fails sooner or later a great product goes down the drain from corporate greed. The Millennials and Gen Z'ers fresh out of college getting management jobs are ruining everything. I'm 60 years old and have been eating Skippy since age of 2. It's NOT the same product anymore and has a weird off taste similar to store brand peanut butter. Corporate greed destroyed the greatest peanut butter ever. I will not be buying it anymore

Price Increase and lack of flavor
Why did Target and Skippy raise the price of peanut butter? The 16oz jar was .50cents cheaper in January! I thought this was fully grown and manufactured in the US. Cheaping on the quality and still raising the price. The flavor is not up to par.
