Not only does it effectively numb the treated area, but it also provides quick relief from any discomfort or pain. I didn't feel anything using this cream. I would expect to at least feel lidocaine on my skin, but this was inert. I don't know if I got an old bottle or what, but it was a total waste of time and money.
