New Version Is Terrible
I have used these sponges for 30 years. They have always been my go to, but the newest ones I purchased were a serious drop in quality. They don’t clean as well, and they fall apart immediately. I’ll watch for the quality to change back, but since that so rarely happens, I’m done buying them. Very disappointed.

Why?
The new color yellow is terrible - who wants a tacky neon thing near the countertop. The traditional style was subtle. Plus, the new material is inflexible and harsh. If I wanted a Scrub Daddy, I'd buy a Scrub Daddy. I needed a Dobie for tasks that were everyday normal, but now that's gone. I'll be looking for something else to buy...

My fave sponge
Not a promotional review! I have used these for all of my adult life, I try other trendy brands as they come out but always come back to these. They scrub effectively, don’t scratch, clean pots and delicate plates equally well, and don’t smell. When the netting on the outside gets a little ragged I change the kitchen one out and use the older one to scrub bathrooms etc. They’re the best.

Versatile!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall these work great! They're gentle enough for my stovetop, and other kitchen items. I also love using them to scrub my shower! So I love that they're versatile. I do enjoy the colors too, so i can distinguish what sponge I used for what room or what item. When i was sent the item for free to review, I was a bit unsure about them. However, they have far exceeded my expectations. Definiely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I really like how this pack of scrubbing pads came with three three beautiful colors. It livens up my kitchen. I've used them for a few weeks now and what I like most about them is that they really do dry quickly. I've used them to do dishes, clean my bathroom like the tub, sink and tiles, and random things. It doesn't leave scratches when cleaning. They are very flexible. And something that I really love doing is throwing them in the dishwasher and have them come out all clean and sanitized. I think the three of these will last a long time since I can keep reusing them.

Pretty colors! Texture of sponge, plastic!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Scotch Brite sponges did not scratch my stainless steel pans, which is a win in my book. One thing I did not like about these sponges is that they get very slippery as you are washing dishes. They feel slippery as you are washing dishes. The texture of the sponge feels like plastic. That’s one of the things I did not like about the sponges.

Why did you change a great product?
I've been washing my dishes with Dobie for maybe half a century. My late mother also used them. The inner sponge was a pale yellow, and the outer covering seemed to be uncolored. Suddenly the company has decided to dye the whole thing a more intense yellow color that makes me think toxic dye may leach onto my dishes and contaminate them. Unless/until they go back to the old design, I'm looking for an alternative.

Works well on cast iron skillets
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on a cast iron skillet with eggs, which is notoriously difficult to clean because you're not supposed to use detergent on cast iron skillets. This scrubber effortlessly took it off. And the sponge cleaned up beautifully.

Perfect for my non- stick pots and pans
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as a free sample to evaluate and give my honest review. I have been using these Dobie scrubbing pads for a few weeks now. I love them. They do not scratch my pots and pans. I’ve used them on non-stick pans, assorted silicone spatulas, as well as plates, bowls and silverware. I like that they are abrasive without the scratches. Plus they are so flexible and also quick drying. They are my go to pad for cleaning and scrubbing.
