I wanted to like/love it.
The mascara was good, it just didn't work for me. Brush was bigger than I like and the mascara seemed clumpy at times. Didn't wash off easily.

As a self proclaimed mascara connoisseur I confidently bestow five stars upon this mascara. Lashes for miles, and if you remove excess mascara from the brush (just gently run the brush through the tip of the wand once or twice) it will separate your lashes into a million individual things of beauty. Better than mascaras I’ve tried that are three times the cost.

Perfect mascara
Lifted my lashes and gave them more curl than other mascaras. Would definitely recommend this mascara if you are looking for an affordable mascara that does what you actually want.

Noticeable length after first swipe
This is great mascara and my lashes are significantly longer with first application, longer and stronger (bolder) with 2nd coat. The only thing I don't like is that it starts to crumb at the end of the day (did I just make up a new industry term?) but I don't reapply during the day or end of day. If I was going out at night, I'd probably reapply. But I think my lashes love it - comes off easily with make up wipes. I really want to try other kinds in the NYX line too.

I have been on a long and desperate search for a dupe replacement for my once beloved Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir mascara; NONE of the luxe brands lived up to it (while also being equally or more expensive). This mascara delivers in both lift and volume (and price!) Please never change this amazing product!

Great Mascara!
I love this mascara! It performs for me better than higher-end mascaras I've tried. My lashes look full and lifted, almost like I have false lashes on! It doesn't smudge like a LOT of other mascaras do! It stays put all day, and comes off easily at night. Highly recommend!

It appears pretty at first but it bleeds terribly causing a raccoon eye look in the middle of the day. It’s also really hard to get off even with makeup remover so I often find myself waiting a few days in between use to give my eyes a rest

Great mascara for short curly lashes.
One of the best mascaras I have used. I have short curly lashes and this mascara allows me to capture all the individual lashes and makes my eyes pop. There is hardly any flaking. I will certainly repurchase when the time comes.
