Q: Is it safe to use on nonstick?

  • A: I've used Dawn Platinum on several Teflon coated pans without any issue. I'm quite surprised Dawn hasn't tested it on anything Teflon though!

Q: Can you use this as a pre-wash spray for heavy, stuck-on-food specific dishes, that will be sitting overnight in the dishwasher. Alternatively, would it be OK to run the dishwasher’s pre-wash cycle with some dishes that have been treated with the spray?

  • A: If you mean can this be used in the dish washer the answer is NO. If you spray this on the dishes and let sit overnight spray off before you put them in the dishwasher or the washer will over suds.

Dawn Powerwash deserves every bit of hype it gets. This stuff cuts through grease ridiculously fast and makes cleaning dishes way less annoying. It’s especially amazing for pans, air fryer baskets, and those mystery kitchen messes that normally need a full interrogation. 😂 A little goes a long way, it smells good, and it honestly saves time. Does it all!

Can't believe anyone wouldn't give it 10stars! I am brand loyal to about three products and this is one of them. I have turned several of my family members on to this product It is not only good for dishes but any challenging cleaning problem. I used it to take to blood stains out of sheets that were brand new and already washed with a major detergent and a stain removal. Didn't work but Dawn platinum power worked like a charm. Great as a general cleaner even for stoves, tennis shoes etc.

Excellent in the bathroom too!

I know its intended use is in the kitchen, but I use it in the bathroom. It removes soap scum from the plastic shower curtain liner by simply spraying it on, waiting a moment and rinsing. It's the only thing I use to clean the bathmat in the same way. Just spray it on and wait for the foam to dissolve, then rinse. Bathmat and shower curtain liner are clean and free of scum. I highly recommend it for this use.

New spray bottle

I bought this one because the pump bottle and refill seemed to be discontinued. I was disappointed on both the design and efficacy of the soap. Although the design provides direct application, the bottle has to be picked up to be used, whereas the pump did not have to be picked up for use-more convenient. The soap itself also seems to be lighter and needing more spraying than the pump did. I prefer the pump bottle and wish you would bring it back!

Cuts through grease fast and makes dishwashing qui

I've been using this spray daily and it honestly makes washing dishes so much easier.This spray cuts through grease and stuck on food in seconds without needing to scrub too hard .I love how simple it is to spray directly onto pots ,pans and plates and let it sit for a few seconds before rinsing.The scent is fresh and clean without being overpowering and a little product goes a long way so it feels worth the price. The bottle is also very easy to use and convenient to keep next to the sink.

Dawn powerwash to the rescue!!

Went on a weekend family trip. I made a new spinach artichoke recipe for us and left the crockpot on a little too long. The dip was scorched to the sides. I brought my dawn powerwash with and it worked amazing. It soaked for a bit and all the yuck came off easy with little effort and looks like brand new. Thanks Dawn! Love this product!!

Versatile and Effective!

Super easy to use, and effective as well! Whether I use it for the shower, the stovetop, washing dishes, or scrubbing the sink afterwards, dawn power wash is my new favorite cleaner! It takes a few rinses to get the surface free of residue, but it doesn’t impact use.

Most amazing power wash spray!!

This is absolutely one of my favorite cleaning product for pots, dishes, sinks, and counters. The price is worth it and the spray is perfect. It foams a lot and this lasts a long time. It smells also very good and the consistency is perfect. I definitely recommend this product if you don’t have something like this for your pots and your pans.

I don’t change it for anything I’ve been using this product since I live here in the United States, in fact my whole family uses it, we can’t miss it, it’s the most effective we have for cleaning, it removes grease super fast even in pots or very dirty dishes, I loved that because it saves time and it’s not just any soap, the best thing is that it comes in spray so that everything is easier, that’s what I liked the most because I apply it directly and that’s it. It is practical and comfortable to use and the weight is perfect, it is not heavy and can be used without problems.

I love cleaning with this stuff. Cuts through the grease easily, especially if you leave it on for just a couple of minutes. It also helps getting tough stains off of clothes! Smells great too.
