Q: Is it safe to use on nonstick?

  • A: I've used Dawn Platinum on several Teflon coated pans without any issue. I'm quite surprised Dawn hasn't tested it on anything Teflon though!

Q: Can you use this as a pre-wash spray for heavy, stuck-on-food specific dishes, that will be sitting overnight in the dishwasher. Alternatively, would it be OK to run the dishwasher’s pre-wash cycle with some dishes that have been treated with the spray?

  • A: If you mean can this be used in the dish washer the answer is NO. If you spray this on the dishes and let sit overnight spray off before you put them in the dishwasher or the washer will over suds.

Best laundry stain treatment!

I use this product more frequently for laundry. I love to cook and Dawn Powerwash is my go-to for grease and general food stains. Market it as a laundry stain treater!

Handle problem

I absolutely love the product but I have an awful time with sprayer. It either gets clogged or wears out. I like to buy refills but no longer trust sprayer. I would even pay to have a better bottle that I could refill.

If I could give it 10 stars I would. I thought I was going to have to get new cabinet doors due to the build-up of grease and cigarette smoke. I tried steam cleaning scrubbing and there was still something left on the doors. So I grabbed the dawn power cleaner sprayed it on and let it wait a few minutes. Scrubbed a little bit and it wiped right off. I wish I could have done a before and after. But I didn't think it would work that good! I wouldn't mind receiving a case lol. Since we moved into a home that had a previous smoker.

Love this product! This product makes cleaning dishes so easy!! Product is able to cut through the dirty leftovers on a plate with ease! Product only requires one squirt to be used in order to clean! Product comes in simple to use packaging and it just clicks right into the sprayer when ready to use. Highly recommend when hand washing dishes!

A fan favorite (I’m the fan)

So good, I gifted these to everyone in my family for Christmas. These Powerwash refills are easy and effective. I spray any pan, dish, or even surface that would traditionally be hard to clean, let it sit for 5 minutes while the bubbles fizz. Then I circle back and wipe away the soap and all the grime. It requires no scrubbing and makes cleaning breeze.

Dawn refill

This soap works great! My one star review is for the way I received my product. I’m handicapped so I use Drive Up and Go. The cap was open slightly and I lost half of the soap. I can’t return it as I have to walk into the store. This has happened numerous times before. Please check the caps before a customer pays for the product.

This is a waste of money, get the original

Good thing this comes with a refill, because you use 3-4 times as much as the foaming pump did. I give a two star rating because, as a stockholder it will sell more frequently than other products. As a consumer I will never buy this product again. Time to go back to the old blue bottle!

So I picked this up and thought "how different can it really be from any other dish soap?" It is SO much better!! I don't know if it's just extra concentrated or what, but pans I used to scrub and scrub come beautifully clean with this. I have three kids, I cook everyday, so I do a lot of dishes. I will absolutely be using Dawn powerwash from now on because it actually makes a chore I dislike much faster and more efficient.

Dawn Spray Handle Design Change

Love the product have/use it ALL over my home, only problem is the spray handle, older folks with arthritis in their hands, ME, have a time being able to easily use spray the way it is designed, handles closer to neck and straighter would be easier to use!

Truly a great product!

I honestly believe you only need 3 products for everyday cleaning - this powerwash, Mr. Clean Unstoppables Multi-cleaner, and disinfecting wipes. Yes, I use this product for tough stains on dishes and it does a great job of getting things up. However, you can use it for so many other things. I clean the sink, stove (top and inside), kitchen counters, and areas where grease can hide like around the microwave and under the stove hood. Even better, you can get some stains out of your clothes and linens! For tougher stains, I have the Heavy Duty version of this powerwash and it has now become a staple in my laundry room (I got rid of the Oxi and Clorox products)! It replaces so many products!
