Great bags without the plastic!
I was looking for an alternative to plastic baggies and these paper sandwich bags work perfectly! They are larger than expected and I can fit even a larger sandwich inside. Since they are paper, I wouldn't recommend putting anything wet inside, but they have so handy to have around my house. Inside the box are also reseable stickers in fun colors. They hold up well and I love that they are an eco-freindly plastic alternative option.

Great as a plastic bag alternative but because they are not coated in anyway, grease spots soak through if you put something like potato chips in them. The stickers to tape the bags shut were hit or miss—we’ve resorted to tape.

Practical Eco-friendly alternative
I first bought these the last school year with skepticism that they would just sit in our cupboards all year. I ended up not ever having to grab plastic ziplocks or hope the kids would bring back tuberware again. Foil for hot things and these for chips or sandwiches. One box lasted us the whole year, but we also have them eat school lunches when it's something they'd likely eat. Easily our new household staple.

I liked the idea of these, but they allow the bread of sandwiches to harden and stale before my daughter could eat her lunch. I’m going to try wax paper bags to see if those hold moisture in better. They also leak.

used for cycling snacks
I use these bags to pack my peanut butter sandwhiches during my cycling rides. no issues with taste or tearing of the bag. I do recommend placing them in a handlebar or frame bag and not your jersey pocket. I would imagine that sweat can saturate the bag and tear it. otherwise very lightweight and a great alternative from plastic.
