Garmin Index S2 Smart Scale

I’m happy with the scale. I do wish it had additional metrics like my Oxiline Scale X Pro does. If you can catch this on sale, even better. I do like the connectivity between the Connect app.

With the help of Garmin support, I was able to connect this device with my new IPhone. Garmin support is incredibly helpful.

Worst Garmin product I have purchased and I have had dozens of products. From the original forerunner, to handheld gps, dog collars, fenix, edge and shot view. Wouldn’t sync with the app and would not give an accurate weight.

This product is tops and is making my health care awareness far more advanced than I could ever imagine. Why did I wait so long? With all the information available, I am making strides to lose weight and maintain my health on a whole new level. I've also added the Blood Pressure cuff.

The best weight scale I have ever used. So many features and syns perfectly with my Garmin account.

Directions say to swipe to change users but it requires a tap instead. Also. Seems to take a hard “tap” to turn it on. Otherwise works great

Its a nice scale but it is not accurate and there is no way to calibrate it, if find its about 4-5lbs, I have a old JennieCraig scale and when I use a 5lb weight it shows five pounds with the S2 its about 8-9lbs. The other connected features work fine

I love the looks and sleek design. The functionality is excellent, very precise and connects seamlessly to my Garmin app. My only complaint, and it has turned into a large one...it eats AAA batteries like they are going out of style! Seriously...why AAA batteries??? I only use the scale about twice a week, and I have to replace the batteries every two weeks. This has led me to installing and removing batteries every single time I use it, which is a huge pain.

It was my impression that the Index S2 Smart Scale data information will sync into Garmin Connect (cell phone), but is not, just the weight only.

Works great and gives more data than a regular bathroom scale. I would definitely recommend if you already use other Garmin devices.

That might not sound like much, but if you're the kind of person who tracks their workouts, heart rate, blood pressure (with a separate Garmin product I also own—thanks, ExpertVoice), and sleep, then you’ll get it. It’s about convenience. If you’re not already living that data nerd lifestyle with Garmin, this scale won’t change your world. But if you are? It’s a clean, simple way to round out your health stats without breaking stride. Just don’t pretend you’re using it to measure your skeletal density like a NASA astronaut.

I’ve had the scale for more than a year now. Love it. Just like the speedometer on my car keeps me from speeding, a 30 second task brings me the information I need. Effectively staying lean and building muscle takes information. It sits on the bathroom floor. Simple and effective. Thank you.

Took 3 seconds to setup with Garmin app; solid list of metrics to track

It keeps sinking some of my info called support she help me redo it got fixed and after 5 min same issue while my 40 dollar scale gives me all the same dat and sink from anywhere in the house

I am disappointed in the scale accuracy for percent body fat. It is off over 10% for me compared with an In Body reading 4 months ago. I’ve lost 7 pounds since my In Body reading of 20% and Garmin scale reads 33% body fat. I am still the athletic post-menopausal woman with excellent muscle definition in legs and arms who exercises daily. I expected a drop in % body fat, not a 13% increase!

Just took the product out of the box and spent an hour online / AI to attempt to manually enter Dexscan data to no avail. Seems the Garmin scale will not adjust or the GUI allow truth data to be entered. So, right now nothing but an expensive scale with inaccurate body data.

Great scale love it it shows all your stats even the local weather

I bought this scale a few weeks ago and I’ve been loving the information I’m gathering from it. It is such a game changer. Only downside that I wish wasn’t a thing is that it has to be connected to WiFi to sync data onto the app, and my whole apartment is too far from the WiFi router for the scale to connect so I haven’t been able to sync data or see how the app analyses my data yet.

This is really nice. Gives me more incentive to to watch what what I eat. Also bought the blood pressure monitor and that is awesome too.
