Description

Philips Norelco Shaver 9500 delivers superior closeness and personalized skin comfort with SenseIQ technology. Designed to prevent skin irritation, the 9500 features Pressure Guard Sensor which guides you to the right pressure as you shave. You'll also get superior closeness thanks to the Dual Steel Precision Blades: two layers of blades which improve cutting speed and efficiency. Only Philips has ComfortGlide rings, a special anti-friction coating to protect your face from redness and irritation. Philips Norelco products have adaptors with automatic voltage selection with 100 to 240 volts printed on the adaptor to select. For international travel, you may need to use another adaptor or plug, depending on the countries power system and outlets.     Good product but lost the ergonomics touch

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The i9000 does a good job in giving a clean cut, charges quickly and is easy to clean. I was using a 20 year old sensor touch 1280X that was much better designed. It had round heads that allowed you to get into all areas of your face, especially around mouth, cheeks and chin. The 1280X also had a better handle with a small indent for a finger that allowed better control of the razor. It fit into the palm of your hand so nicely. I wished they had kept the ergonomics of the 1280X and made their improvements in other areas.

    No regrets

    I’ve tried various shavers, including Philips, in the past and always found them to cause skin irritation so reverted back to wet shaving. I was really cautious about buying this shaver as I’d always thought the lift and cut feature caused rashes and ingrown hairs. After watching online views I chose this shaver and have been really impressed with it. No rash, no irritation, just a gentle and reliable close shave with very few if any missed hairs. Haven’t wet shaved for weeks now and am not going back.

    good shaver- bad charging stand

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the saver about 6 months, and the charging screen failed. I sent in for replacement, and it came no issues. The charger stand also stopped working. I wet shave and find that I need to shake the bottom and let air dry all day and then in evening set the shaver on the stand. I watch for corrosion on the bottom on shaver and on the stand and clean this off as it builds up on the copper connectors.

    An Excellent Razor from Phillips!

    Wonderful electric razor. I have had at least 3 previous Phillips razors and the 9000 Series, while quite expensive, is superior in every way. It feels good in your hand, is quiet, comfortable on your face and shaves exceedingly well. I had read one report that it did not shave well under the nose but this has proven untrue. It shaves in that area of the face much better than my 7000 Series did. Hats of to the folks in Eindhoven!
