The taste is not toddler approved. It was a struggle getting her to even take the whole dose. Skip this product and get something that will actually work.

It sucks you can only take 2 doses a day, BUT this stuff truly does work wonders! The measuring cap is the cutest thing ever, it’s just a cute package design meant for kids. It’s a dark honey, with real elderberry, vitamin D & zinc. The taste actually isn’t awful, the kids give me no problems/complaints when taking it!

Another thing I liked is that it comes with two: one for the day and one for the night, to help you rest better at night. It didn’t seem to help too much with my child’s cough. I used for quite a while. I like the ingredients but it’s not that effective. The night one helped my baby sleep better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Zarbee’s Children’s Nighttime Cough Syrup + Immune packing has cute packaging with a beehive cap that can be used for serving the cough syrup. However, what’s confusing about the lid itself is I can barely make out (very lightly printed) a 2 tsp serving when the suggestions for use states a serving size is 1 tsp. Unless I missed something, this was very confusing! I only served my child the 1 tsp serving and it seemed to help soothe her cough. I like that it has natural ingredients like honey, elderberry and chamomile and free of alcohol or artificial flavors or dyes. I will continue giving this to my child the next time she is ill.

We have always liked Zarbee's products and have been satisfied with them in the past. My kids didn't struggle to take this at all! That is a huge win for parents if you've ever had a kid who doesn't like to try new things. My kids were able to sleep without coughing all night long, and I like that the ingredients are familiar to us. Definitely a staple item in our household.

I received it in the last month of school and it came in handy often. I felt safe administering to my young kids (4 to7 years) because of the vitamins and health beneficial ingredients and lack of drugs, alcohol, dyes, sweeteners or flavors. The kids even didn't mind the taste which is a win because if they don't like it, they won't take it, so they didn't mind the berries flavor.
