    Good for the price, tightening screws needed a power drill

    The stain is quite similar to the listing and it fits right where it needs to go. Do not tighten the screws all the way till the very end. The pre-drilled holes were off and did not align well with supplied hardware. Allen key that is provided fits hardware but I had to break out the power drill to get the screws into each piece. I wish the underside of the steps were finished with the sanding and clear coat as the top of the steps, you do see the bottom of the folded steps when the bottom two stairs are folded in.

It's perfect for those higher spots, it's beautiful so I don't hide it in a closet like the other step stools, and makes a good stool for the kitchen. Plus I had a piece break while I was putting it together and they sent a replacement part in a few days. Don't let the breaking put you off, just be careful when screwing in the round part. I always appreciate fully wooden furniture too - so sick of the garbage I normally end up with. Enjoy!

    Great stool to safe step stool

    easy to assemble & convenient. A stool under the counter that easily convert to a step stool. Our other stools swivel and my husband hates when I stand on them. This gift will keep me from standing on the swiveling stool :)

    Eh wouldn't suggest if you aren't naturally handy

    If my partner wasn't a handy person I would of had to send this back. Directions aren't good and there's not enough holes for the hardware. Thankfully he's good at what he does cause it is pretty. The look I was looking for. But the stairs in the floor when folded inside. Instead of floating or resting. Seller needs to fix directions and add more holes!

    Attractive and Solid Step Ladder

    This step ladder is sturdy and attractive. It also can double as a plant stand when not in use. Unfortunately, it is more difficult to assemble than it should be. There are no pre drilled holes to locate the brackets, so you will need a drill with a small bit. You will also need to measure and mark the locations of the brackets before drilling. This turns what could have been a simple assembly into a more time consuming process. Also, the kit is one screw short...not because someone miscounted the screws in MY kit, but because the screws as defined in the paperwork (parts quantities) does not account for all the screws required to complete the assy.

    Awful

    Absolute nightmare to put together. Do NOT buy. The little tiny screws are in a little tiny space. There is no room to use a drill and no room to swing a hammer, so impossible to get them in the steps. Directions are awful. Wood was scarred and chipped.

    Nice stool for 2 year old daughter!

    Use this for my toddler daughter in my kitchen. Every single day! She loves it and I love having her "help" me out in the kitchen. My mom actually ended up buying one for both my sisters for their kiddos! It is perfect height for her to reach the counter.< br />< br />My husband did have a time putting it together. I don't think the directions were as thorough as he would of liked. Other than that it's been a great buy!
