How to Dye
1. Prep your hair with Manic Panic Blue Lightning Hair Bleach Kit- 30 Volume
2.Shampoo with a clarifying shampoo – try Prepare to Dye® Clarifying Shampoo
3. Apply hair dye to dry, clean hair, fully saturating strands
4. Let process for 30 minutes (longer for more vibrant results)
5. Rinse with cool water (no shampoo) to lock in color

    Bleedey, and runs pink

    I'm typically a fan of manic panic but admittedly have not used their products in a while. Relative to their other colors/past experiences/other brands , this dye bleeds more and washes out faster. It also leans very pink. Even in cold showers and with a long setting period it seems to not stick.

    SO intense, stains and bleeds, but if you want to make a statement, it's great.

    It comes out SO intense, like a neon fuchsia. It's much deeper and more purple than my camera would show. I have washed it about 10 times with hot water and head and shoulders to lighten it up, just because it was too intense with me. It's still very bright and I would not recommend it unless you want pink hair for a LONG time. It does bleed like crazy and will stain your tub. You'll need 2 containters if you have hair at your shoulders, or thick hair.

    Be prepared for stains

    Color is great!! I applied over faded red and maybe I left the dye on for a long while but it looks phenomenal! Turned out a very dark pink on my hair. I wish Manic Panic came with gloves because my hands are pink as well as my bathtub, but it should wash out after a few showers I hope.

    Pretty at first then turned my hair grey

    Pretty at first like cotton candy but then it started to turn grey. I have curly hair so now it’s like the murky grey color that won’t wash out. On the plus side there was no staining and it didn’t make me break out despite me being allergic to everything under the sun. I won’t give up on this hair dye yet but I won’t choose purple again.

    Do Not buy this product !!!!! Waste of money !!!!

    Such an awe full product !!!! Do not buy this !!!! I have ordered 2 jars of this ! One I have used and it barely covers a shoulder length hair cut . So I ordered another one which has been in the shipping process for over a month so I can’t even cancel it ! Do better Target !!!!! Also started with bleached blond hair and the blond shows through !!!! I do not recommend buying this product ! It is awful and shipping time is a joke !!!!!!

    Although my hair is red, it bleeds excessively. My bathtub is a nightmare each time I shower and I’m stained red— would not recommend. I’ve tried other products that give the same pay off color but the bleeding is more contained. :/
