This product works just fine, although it's a bit expensive compared to others that work equally well.

It was always a challenge to get internal temperatures accurate on my steaks while grilling because my meat thermometer took so long to reach the actual temperature I was never sure if it was even accurate…..The typhur core is AWESOME! Internal temperature in under a second! I’m telling you it’s worth every penny. Be sure to get the core version because it’s the latest version where they added rubber coating to the magnet, a tip protector, and it’s smudge resistant! Couldn’t be happier (this is the one to get!)

I got this on sale mainly because it was cheaper to buy it with the quad thermometer than to buy the quad Alone. Once I received it, I was really impressed with the quality. I really like the magnets and lock feature as well as the lit screen. I have had a thermopem for over 10 years that has been great But I expect this will get more use going forward.

This is the king of my probe arsenal. It feels and looks many steps above the norm. I checked it against 3 others and it works great. I love that you can press a button and hold the temperature. This allows you to remove it from an oven or grill without losing the actual detected temp before you can see it.

Have been a long time thermapen user, the typhur is easier to see and quicker to get temp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is super handy, really fast and easy to read in any light! I do a lot of food prep cooking on a BBQ for my family of four and our Go-To -Meals are Chicken Breast and Beef Burgers. These are everyday food items for us and don't really require the use of a Meat Probe you stick and keep in the meat throughout the cook and on some chicken pieces they are too thin for this. This is where I find myself using this probe all the time. It's just super easy and quick to pull out and probe the meat and with the Probes small diameter you can easily use it on thinner meats. I like that it is magnetic as it hold on my Grilling system in arms reach at all time. I love that I don't have to worry too much about it getting wet as often it ends up full of sauce and washing it off is needed. When it comes to meat, cooking for time is not how you do it, it's all about the internal temperature and therefore this handy and dependable folding heat probe is a must have to be able to produce quality meals.
