Description

Lightweight, powerful and portable, this versatile Vacmaster 1.5 Gallon Wet/Dry Vac is a convenient size for quick cleanups and stores easily. This multi-surface vacuum can clean up both wet and dry messes on all kinds of surfaces. It weighs less than 6 lbs., has a 5.5-inch cleaning path and comes with a crevice tool for getting hard-to-reach places completely clean. It comes with a 4-foot by 1.25-in diameter hose, reusable cloth filter, reusable foam wet filter, 2-in-1 utility nozzle, crevice tool, and on-board accessory storage to keep your Vacmaster 1.5 Gallon Wet/Dry Vac organized when it's not in use. Tank Size refers to the actual tank volume, and does not reflect capacity available during operation. Peak Horsepower is a term used in the wet-dry vac industry for consumer comparison purposes. It does not denote the operational horsepower output of a wet-dry vac, but rather the horsepower output of a motor, including the motor’s inertial contribution, achieved in laboratory testing. In actual use, motors do not operate at the peak horsepower shown. CFM, Water Lift, and Air Watts tested to ASTM standard at the end of included hose.

Q: Can you use this shopvac to clean up drywall dust and should you use bag to contain the dust

submitted by dday55280 - 3 years ago

  • A: I have used this vacuum for just about everything including drywall dust. it will pick it up but suction gets less and less until you scrape off of the filter. But I wouldnt recommend doing tons.

submitted bytuesdayshippie - 1 year ago

  • A: Hi dday55280. No, we do not recommend the VH105 0101 for drywall dust. This is a very fine material and will require a vacuum equipped with a fine dust filter. This vacuum is not dust bag compatible. Thanks for your questions! --Vacmaster Customer Service / Cleva North America, Inc.

Q: Can this be used to vacuum diatomaceous earth food grade from carpet ?

submitted by Curious - 2 months ago

  • A: Hi Curious. Yes, the VH105 0101 can be used for this, but you should install a fine dust filter for this job rather than using the included cloth filter. This will help protect your motor, as diatomaceous earth is very fine. Thanks for your question! --Vacmaster Customer Service / Cleva North America, Inc.

Q: If I were to vacuum out my car with this fun size shop vac, is there an average time or amount you’d say I could get? I know it’s “fun size” but also looks like a regular vacuum storage bag size? Any help is appreciated! Thank you

submitted by Formula - 4 months ago

  • A: Hi Formula. The typical user will be able to vacuum their car with the VH105 0101 multiple times before needing to empty it. Of course this could vary by the user, how frequently (or infrequently) you clean out your car, or what type of debris you're collecting. For example, if your kids brought the beach back with them, that may require you to empty it after one cleaning. We hope this helps! --Vacmaster Customer Service / Cleva North America, Inc.

Q: Is there a lock mechanism that keeps the dry filter in place? I haven’t seen anything at the moment.

submitted by Michael - 4 months ago

  • A: Hi Michael. No, the filter does not lock in place, but fits snugly over the filter cage. If you are experiencing any issues with the filter not staying in place, please reach out to us at 1-866-384-8432 so we can help. --Vacmaster Customer Service / Cleva North America, Inc.

This vacuum is a compact powerhouse, ideal for tackling small jobs around the house, including car cleaning and minor spills. Guests appreciate its strong suction and lightweight design, making it easy to maneuver. However, some have noted issues with stability and the need for an extension cord due to its short power cord. Overall, it serves well for quick clean-ups and is a great addition to any tool set.

    mostly OK

Great suction, light weight, works great as a gutter leaf blower, BUT it tips over easy while free standing and thinks its full so you have to turn it off and stand it back up before re starting it to make it start working again. Other than this balance design flaw it works great. If the hose were longer it would be great for attatching a shoulder strap to for easier carrying.

Great Little Vacuum...at a Great Price!

Just needed to pull about 30 gallons of water out of a wonky-built pond that was hard to get to with a larger vacuum. It worked great and will transition to my shop vac of choice for bench work. Thanks for making a Great Little Vacuum at a Great Price!

Almost perfect especially for detailing a brand new vehicle

Very powerful beyond my expectations the hose is a little stiff and it's a little bit too loud other than that perfect for maintaining car cleanliness especially winter highly suggest
