Great Iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just like how this iron turned out. It has self clean option and a button to retract the cord automatically. I like the ease of using it and it irons the tough cotton clothes very easily. Water dispensing is easy and easy to store it back after you are done.

A powerful, reliable steam iron that makes ironing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The steam iron works very well and heats up quickly. It produces strong, consistent steam that removes wrinkles easily, even on thick fabrics like jeans and cotton.

The unit has no power for the job.
I received the new unit two days ago. I used it today and found that it isn't good. The unit has no heating and steam power due to its lower power (1750W). It is rather disappointed. I have had and always had many Rowenta steam irons for more than 50 years and was very satisfied with them. This new one (Rownta Excellence model) is below par for Rowenta brand.

Save your money
The cord auto rollback feature failed in 2 weeks. The button is stuck and the cord is always being pulled back in. :(

The Brand
I fully support this brand, will never use another iron. It basically irons for itself. My other Rowenta developed an electrical shortage and wasn't working properly so I ordered a new one. The Cadillac of Irons!

First Of this brand
As much as I love this iron, I wish it was a little lighter.

Ok
It is great except that the steam steams but hot water also leaks out over things

Nice and Heavy
This iron is excellent. Unlike other models, it is nice and heavy, so it actually does the job or ironing out wrinkles. We also like the temperature controls that list particular fabrics rather than just "low" and "high". Lastly, we purchased this model because it has the retractable cord, which has not disappointed. We highly recommend it.

Iron Weight distribution
The weight of the bottom end with the cord extended out is still more than I care for. I believe one without the retractable cord would work better for me.

Dial issues
I have used and loved the Rowenta irons for many, many years. With this new one, I find the dial harder to turn to adjust setting. Other than that, it works great!

Great steam iron
Nice, heavy iron with lots of steam holes. It did leave a few spots of water during ironing. Other then that, it’s an excellent iron.

Best Iron
Highest quality iron. Good weight and very even steam. Makes ironing enjoyable. If you invest in your clothing, you absolutely need to invest in a good iron to properly press them. Works so great on all fabrics. Oxford shirts look like they came from the dry cleaners and silk dresses are perfectly wrinkle-free without worrying about leaking water stains or burns.

Steer clear
Awkward, lopsided base, easily tips. Good luck returning this item, they’ll send you in so many circles, your head will spin and then refuse the return. Target has certainly lost their customer service edge.

This iron is one hot item!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Showing a before and after in the photos. It would be 5 stars but I had to give it four because it’s pretty tricky to get the water in without spilling. Otherwise, it works really well! Directions are pretty clear and our clothes looked way better. It has a sleek design and is really smooth on the clothes. Unsure on durability but I like that it has multiple features.

Fast and efficient ironing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trying the Rowenta Focus Excel Steam Iron has been a great opportunity to discover a new iron that has many great features so I can go ahead and discard my old one. This iron has so many great features to take advantage of. Starting with the powerful steam that covers a bug area of the fabric you are ironing. Fast and efficient leaving the fabric nice and free of wrinkles. My favorite is the precision tip which helps me get those corners and edges of shirts, pants, dresses etc. It has over 400 steam holes to provide a better coverage of the fabric with great results. It’s designed with a comfortable handle, also has precise burst and burst of steam buttons. The safety auto off its a very good feature. The stainless steel plate is durable and with very good quality. I used the iron in many different types of fabrics and clothing, all the results were excellent. Love this iron and total recommend trying!

Works fast and feels premium
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The iron feels premium, has a good weight to it and works really fast. I dont have to go over one surface more than once and it glides easily. The steam feature is easy to use and the water container is easy to fill and does not leak. I like it but some might find it a little heavy to lift and move around.

Best iron I've used
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't expecting to love an iron. It heats up in less than a minute. There is the iron to push a button for steam right when you need it but also a dial to have it automatically steam as you go at different rates. I was able to plug it in, iron a linen shirt and a silk scarf, and unplug it all within 4 minutes. It really is worth it and I only iron like 5 times a year (although I will likely do it more often now).
