Lasts longer than salon color!
Vibrant, lasting color! Obviously it’s not as dark a few weeks out but it never looks dull. Lasts longer than when I go to the salon. I do recommend using a flat brush to apply to the roots and then a wet brush to brush the color through for even coverage.

Not like it used to be
I have been using Feria for years. The last few I’ve used 45 French Roast but this time due to more grays and having to color more often, I opted for a lighter color and did B61 Downtown Brown. I have visible grey everywhere. I have never had any trouble with Feria covering grays before. I wasted money, time and back pain to do this only to have to do it again.

Hi RLKN! Thank you for the photos! Feria B61- Downtown Brown is not a gray coverage haircolor. Please take a look at the information on the box. This is a hair lightener that takes the natural dark hair to a lighter shade of brown! It is a hair lightener, so it cannot make lighter hair darker of deposit color to cover gray. The Feria Haircolor line is not recommended for gray coverage, and we do not promote gray coverage on the box or instructions for using. Our promoted gray coverage haircolor is Excellence Creme! Next to Excellence is Superior Preference, depending g on your % of gray! We hope this is helpful information going forward.

As of 2026 they changed the copper crave c74 color ive been faithfully buying this color for years and im very disappointed with the outcome of my hair after using the new formula please change it back i dont know what to use now not even in salons could get the color i was getting from this kit VERYYY DISAPPOINTED

In hair color, purple and red are often very closely related in their pigment base, and a "purple" shade can sometimes appear quite reddish if the hair has natural warm undertones or if the starting base was a medium to dark brown. When the formula is mixed and applied, the initial color you see is the concentrated dye reacting with the developer, which can often look intensely red before it fully develops on the hair. To achieve a more true, cool-toned purple in the future, it is often helpful to select a shade with "cool" or "iridescent" descriptors. For your current color, using a blue or purple-toned color-depositing conditioner can help neutralize those reddish highlights and move the tone back toward a cooler violet. We strongly suggest performing a strand test before any future applications to ensure the final developed shade is exactly what you are looking for.

Wrong color! Def changed formula.
I haven’t used this product in years, but use to love it. Used it color black hair black today. It didn’t color sun faded areas of my hair at all and left my grey roots royal purple. This is horrible. Should be pulled from market for false advertising!!

Not happy
It burned my forehead slightly. I didn’t know it had ammonia in it because I had used deposit only Féria hair color in the past. It also left my hair frizzy and looking more damaged.

This toner is dark ash, if you’ve transitioned to gray hair, don’t do it. It won’t work like the picture on box. This deposits dark chocolate/red brown color. Had to have a professional color removal done

Do not buy this. I purchased the deep brown espresso and the results are awful. My roots are orange. My hair was dark brown and I was just touching up my roots. I’m going to have to put a bag over my head to go get a new box tomorrow.
