New kettle looks great our kitchen, but too soon to judge quality. Easy to clean with large opening. Blue LED light is hit with kids. Not as hot to touch as steel or glass kettles. Happy so far.

We decided to pay more than in the past to get a longer lasting kettle. However, this one has one flaw that, if we had known, we would not have purchased - the spout filter. All kettles we've had, even the cheapies, had a fine mesh spout filter that kept "grit" out of the cup. This kettle does not. It has a plastic molded filter grid whose holes are not small enough to stop furring "bits" from hard water that furr the kettle (which is normal) and then break off as tiny bits. We have had to clean the kettle with vinegar/water/boil after just a week or two of use to stop the grit occurring in cups. This has not been a problem with even the cheapest of kettles in the past because they had very fine nylon(?) spout filters. This a simple fix you should do Capresso. Other than this, only time will tell if the kettle lasts and was worth the extra.

Just what I needed…. It heats up fast and does what it is suppose to do.

I was searching for a kettle that would not burn my hand after water is boiling. I found it in this kettle. I've been boiling water for years in a regular tea kettle and this one boils in less than half the time and when pouring does not burn my hand. The only thing I would change would be to make it easier to add water.

Great for heating water to wash dishes and conserve. Great product

It's perfect! Lightweight and it's big enough so we don't have to make many trips.

Decent tea kettle, but not much more. It takes longer to come to boil than brands. When it does, the steam escapes from around the lid, which is a safety issue. The worst thing is that Capresso designed this solely for right-handed users. In an obvious cost saving measure, there only a water window viewable by having the handle on the right side. This is extremely bad design - I am left handed!
