I tried this for roughly two weeks with little to no benefit. It doesn't mix well at all. Repeatedly took more than the recommended 8oz of water for one serving - sometimes as much as 14oz (clumpy mess). I switched to the name brand after that frustration

Works just as good as the name-brands. Was recommended to me by my OBGYN while I was recovering from childbirth. I do wish these came in any other flavor besides orange though. And it takes some seriously rigorous mixing to thoroughly dissolve.

Starting this review with the preface that I'm something of a metamucil connoisseur. I've tried a lot of different types to see what was best bang for your buck while maintaining the quality needed for the constitutionals it would help deliver. With that, I don’t know what Target was thinking, but the new formula for their Metamucil knockoff is nothing like the old one. The previous version delivered exactly what you wanted: reliable, well-formed, thick, sturdy, dare I say girthy poops. The kind that make you feel like your digestive system is firing on all cylinders. The mix was granular but not so fine that it was a pain to dissolve in water like the new one is. This new formula? It’s a watered-down, sad excuse that doesn’t come close. Instead of giving me that solid, satisfying result, it leaves me questioning if I even took anything at all. It’s like they stripped out whatever actually made it work and replaced it with disappointment. Target, you had a winner before — a true competitor to the name brand. But now, you’ve ruined it. I’ll be forced to go back to the real Metamucil because even though it will drain my pockets of money it at least still delivers the strong, put-together results I can count on. Do better, Target. Until then, this stuff is going straight back on the shelf where it belongs.

love it!!!!! I have horrific problems going 2 and this has mad it smooth and no gas just wonderful, I've tried everything and this works!!!! It tastes delicious too. Every morning I'm regular now💩🤣

This product does not mix well in liquid.

I started a higher dosage of Ozempic, and really needed something to make me regular. This daily fiber mixed with OJ is easy to drink and did the trick.

Target, please go back to the original formula, which was very effective for improving digestion, disolved well, and had a pleasant taste. Also, the prior formula used a courser type of psyllium fiber which was just right which helped with its effectiveness. Had to return and stopped purchasing altogether.

Maybe it's a blessing that I didn't try the original formula because I did not find this one to be offensive as many did. It is considerably more affordable than the name brand and it's helped me with my Digestive Health since being diagnosed with celiac disease. It definitely thickens in water if you don't drink it quickly, but I used this for medicinal purposes, not making cocktails. I mix it up and chug it down without issue. And the flavor is decent as well.

Don't believe the average, sort the reviews by "new" or "most recent" and look at how terrible the feedback is. They kept the old reviews from before this product was re-designed. It is bad now, does not readily dissolve in water.

Why did they change the formula, this new powder is awful. It does not dissolve and the taste is not the best. I have been using the orginal for years and it was great compared to this powder junk.

I've been using this for years and they've changed the packaging and the formula. It's disgusting and it doesn't completely dissolve in water like the older formula. I won't be buying this again unless they change it back, which I doubt they will. I'm going to look for an alternative.

After several years of using I could tell immediately the formula has changed. The powder is much denser (looks like face powder) and it tastes like ground up vitamins. Whatever, it is undrinkable. Asking for my money back.
