Cream has completely hardened in 4 months
I bought three of these in March 2025 and by July 2025 (4 months) the cream has completely hardened in all of them and cannot be released through the hole for sunscreen to be applied. I would have to cut through the entire container to try and use. But it’s hardened like glue.

THE best clean sunscreen
As far as clean ingredients go you really can’t beat this. The formula is definitely thick so it’s harder to cover and reapply to wiggly toddlers. Definitely worth the effort though to know they’re safe.

While I do love the initial smell of this sunscreen and it does a good job it is just WAY too thick and greasy. It is so difficult to wash off too. By the end of the day it has a chemical, tar smell. Not a fan.

Too thick and greasy feeling
Smells great (like a creamsicle) but it’s VERY hard to squeeze out (to the pony that I thought it had dried out despite being properly sealed) and feels very greasy. Sand will definitely stick to you. It never “dries” or stops feeling super slick on your skin. The white cast is pretty significant. Did it’s job in terms of sun protection, but I won’t purchase again.

I’ve tried a lot of sunscreens in the last year. After doing some research, I stumbled upon this. Ingredients are clean, and my kids who are eczema prone with other sunscreens, did not break out at all. And I didn’t even wash it off at the end of the day as I usually do. They didn’t burn either, which is equally important. It smells like clementines and vanilla which is a pleasant surprise. It is a little greasy, but a little goes a long way and it rubs in well. I have since purchased several more to have on hand all summer. Give it a try, you’ll be thankful you did.

I love this sunscreen! My baby is eczema prone, and the other “natural” sunscreens I’ve tried on her so far have caused her’s to flare up. Not this sunscreen though! I like the smell, but it is really thick, so it takes awhile to rub in. I wish they offered it in a bigger size as well, because we will be using this often! I’ve used it a few times already on her in 70-80ish degree weather (for going on walks, not getting wet) and she hasn’t burned.

I saw many other poor reviews about getting sun burned with this product and I looked past it due to the low EWG and ThinkDirty rating. All three of us burned after multiple applications and only being out four hours. I’m very upset about it. It’s as if we put on zero sunscreen.

Absolutely LOVE this sunscreen! It protects so well and my kids (ages 2 and 3) don't fight having it applied because it smells so good! We call it the ice cream sunscreen. It takes a little rubbing before going on completely clear. Will definitely buy again.

I began using this product about 3 weeks ago after having it recommended to me. I am not sure how I have never heard of Badger before?! My skin, especially my face, is very prone to sun damage issues and is also very sensitive. Finding a good physical sunscreen that does not make my face appear white and/or purple and that does not cause flare ups has been a challenge. 3 weeks in this product is fabulous. It provides solid sunscreen while also leaving my face looking smooth and hydrated. It has also worked very well under make up. The oils added to it give it a very light but yummy orange/vanilla scent. Side note: I did have an issue with my initial order. Customer service was on point and took care of it quickly. Highly recommend!!
