The Casper Essential Cooling Pillow

PSA: If you have a cooling pillow, the ones with the blue gel looking pad. If you feel like your head and neck are wet and you’ve had that pillow for maybe a year it’s leaking like a bad water bra! I’m thinking why is my neck and back of my head so wet? Am I sweating that much? nope! it’s an unknown chemical that makes you break out and wonder what the toots is happening.

I’ve had these for a good while now maybe a year they have worked great I used to get migraines a lot and the pillow hugs my head very well which I love for the pillow they are pricey but I would recommend to buy.

No dislikes at all! Pillow is cooling and plush

There was nothing to this pillow. No support, no fluff. The cover of it is slick, which would take my pillow case off in the middle of the nite.

I had purchased my husband the previous generation Casper pillow. We have a second home and when I went to Target to get the same pillow that he loves, I was very disappointed to see they no longer cary it. The old one is a two piece. I ended up getting this one anyways and with it being bagged, you can return it. He is a back sleeper and he said this one is way too soft and not as lofty as he likes. I'm not sure but he likes to be up at quite an angle. For me though, I tried the pillow and I'm a side sleeper, I ended up loving it!! I really thought it was going to be too firm but it's not. It cradles my head perfectly. At some point I thought maybe it will be too soft after my head rested in. Nope. I didn't consider this for myself and debated returning it for a few days but glad I tried it out. To be honest I was so frustrated trying to find the perfect pillow and spent probably $1,000 on pillows over the last two years. I've now had this for several weeks and couldn't be more happy. For reference I'm a female, 5'6" and 125lbs - side sleeper with a TERRIBLE back (kyphosis - a few thoracic vertebrae broken). My head has to be at the right angle or I wake up feeling awful.

Very uncomfortable. Your head will completely sink in the middle of the pillow. NOT worth $65. My husband and I both agree they’re terrible and we were losing sleep, tossing and turning all night, every night. Do not get these pillows.

LOVE that it's not a firm pillow, it's actually is so great for my neck pains. I was looking for a pillow that was not flat and would actually give my neck support sleeping on my back. Other pillows were suppose to shape to your body but felt like a mountain pushing my head forward and stretching my neck. This has been perfect since the first night providing me much needed relief. Got it on sale but plan buy more before they stop making them. Not giving it 5 stars because idk how long they will last yet.

Very squishy and unsupportive. I just laid on it for a few minutes and could tell it wasn't supportive. Now I have to return it.

I like it. I've only been sleeping on this pillow for 2 nights but the first night I didn't wake up at all in the middle of the night and I ALWAYS wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom or because I'm hot. Sometimes I wake up hot and I've been ok so far. The pillow does go flat but that's how I like to sleep. I was so glad I didn't have to break in a new pillow to be as flat as my old pillow. If you like to sleep on a flat cool pillow this will work for you. If you need a giant hard pillow get 2 of these.

This pillow is very comfortable and the cooling effect is very nice. However, it cannot be contained by any normal pillowcase. The material on the outside of the pillow is so slick that the pillow literally shoots out of the case throughout the night. It knocked my bedside lamp over well I was sleeping, and I woke up holding an empty pillow case. I'm going to try putting it in a zip-up pillow cover but I'm not looking forward to spending more money to be able to use something that was already quite an investment.
