Q: How does it work with sound? If we have two cameras, will sound come through the monitor for either one at any time, or do we need to switch which one is being viewed to hear the corresponding sound?

  • A: The DXR-8 PRO baby monitor allows you to hear audio from the camera unit you are currently viewing. If you have two camera units, you will need to switch to the specific camera unit on the monitor to hear the corresponding sound.

Easy to set up!

Took all of 1 minute to pair with our parent monitor. I turned off the scan feature and instead manually toggle between my two children using the “ok” button. Same excellent video quality and safety with no WiFi. The extra camera does not come with the wide angle lens that comes with the initial monitor/camera combo. I never bothered to use it in the first place, so no big deal to me, but I see a negative review about it and wanted to mention it.

No additional lens incldued.

Product listing is misleading. Based on the pictures, I understood I would be receiving two camera lenses to interchange, but I only received the camera unit with the zoom lens. No wide angle lens included.

Much clearer than the original. The noise reduction doesn’t work with the scanning though. Battery will die overnight if left on. Does not last all day either. They quote 6hrs
