Decided to get the $40+ one over the $23 one. Should have bought the $100 one. You get what you pay for. Tried making a simple smoothie with fruit, yogurt, juice, milk and 4 ice cubes. It wouldn’t blend up the fruit or ice without stirring it with a spoon while running. Disappointed and really don’t want to waste gas and drive back to Target.

Motor smells like burnt electrical wiries.
Oster has a problem with the motor always smelling like burnt wires. This is the second Oster blender I've owned in the last 5 years with this problems.

It's nice but didn't last long...
I bought it on Nov 30, 2025 and it worked fine until yesterday. I tried grinding spinach, and it started smelling plastic and smoke started coming out of the bottom. Maybe I blended for a bit longer as it didn't seem to blend, or spinach got stcuk with blades but this wasn't expected. I used again this morning and the strong plastic smell is still there. Cannot return as it has been over 90 days. I don't think I will buy from this brand again.

Fire warning!
What seemed like a great purchase from a trusted brand turned out to be my worst purchase. The blender started producing smoke and gave off a horrible burning smell, even setting off my fire alarm. Do not buy this product. Despite the suspicious 5-star reviews, there are many 1-star reviews reporting the same issue with the motor smoking or overheating. This is a serious safety hazard. I can’t believe it’s still being sold without being recalled. ⚠️
