We recommend switching to curly products because curly hair tends to have more lift points along the strand, which makes it naturally drier and more prone to frizz.

smells good, the bottle is designed terribly. it is so fat, you have to squeeze really hard, hard to do with small hands and weak wrist, just twist the cap off and dump. Frizzed my thick wavy hair, but give it 3 stars, because the conditioner should've fixed the frizz

Irritating and ineffecrive
I like some of their other wavy products but I hate this shampoo. It is extremely irritating on my scalp and gave me scalp pimples (something I’ve never in my life had). I thought it was a me problem but my spouse, who never has scalp issues also is getting irritation and scalp pimples from this shampoo. And it doesn’t enhance my waves any more than non-wavy shampoos I’ve used.

Beware! Causes hairloss
This made my hair fall out right after the first use. Tried it again and my hair fell out again, it was a noticeable amount. I am so upset bc I am trying to grow back my hair fall out from postpartum and this just made things worse. I did add 3 of their add-in vials, spent a lot of money and couldn’t return since I had tossed the empty vials. I trashed the product. Never Again.

I like the smell and that’s what caught my attention. But I notice that my hair has thinned out a bit and is a bit dry. I’ve been using it for a month and a half since I saw good reviews. I brush out my hair after showering and then wake up with my hair having more knots than ever. My hair wouldn’t knot before and the ends feel dry. It’s a hit or miss, I think if you buy just the shampoo or condition and not the other it could save your hair if you combine it with a different brand.

I’m sad. I initially liked this shampoo and it worked great with my hair. Unfortunately the longer I used it the more hair loss I was seeing. Same for my son who also used it. I’d beware.
