    Breakfast sandwich maker

    I have the model with no timer and 5 min works perfect for one egg with an English muffin, haven’t tried many other variations yet, but so far it works really well for my purposes! I do not recommend using more than one egg though, as this caused it to take longer cooking and the egg spilled out all over the counter. But using it as instructed works wonderfully.

    Mine didn’t have a timer or an automatic shut off so you have to watch the clock to make sure you don’t have it too long

    Missing/broken parts

    First unit had missing rubber feet (only 1 of 4 present). This caused the unit to slide when in use. The preheat light also didn’t work even though the unit heated. I requested a new unit, which has been received. Now the preheat light works but only 2 of the 4 rubber feet are present making the unit lopsided. I’m hoping Hamilton Beach can just send the 2 missing feet.

    Easy!

    I use this to make my husband breakfast sandwiches for work. I freeze them and he can just go. This is so so much easier than doing them in frying pan.

    Great....when cleaned.

    I've owned at least 6 of these over the years and it's a great breakfast sandwich maker, nothing compares! But, you must clean it after every use and be sure to not scratch the non-stick coating with anything metal. If not cleaned, the coating will prematurely degrade due to repeated hot spots from leftover oils. A porcelain coating would hold up better IMO. I use this maker EVERY DAY! Love it!

    Great product

    It is a great gadget to make breakfast, is not easy because you need to be really careful of not burning yourself, also as long as you don't forget to set a timer since this model doesn't have one! But other than that i recommend this product to save money buying breakfast sandwiches!
